Spent the night on personal trip to Bellingham Washington. Unfortunately, the breakfast it's not like it used to be like you would expect at a Choice property.
The coffee used to be good, they used to have apples, in addition to spoons for cereal, that were big enough to scoop up some milk and a mouthful of cereal. These have been replaced to a single size spoon for coffee.
Yoghurt and pastries are no longer available.
Perhaps one day they'll return to how they used to be and that is to offer a decent breakfast for their guests.

The room itself was comfortable and clean, although the hotel does have an odor to it, this included the room. The shower needs attention, as water comes from both the faucet and the shower head, resulting in one having to take a longer shower than required!
Perhaps this may come from people using the balconies to smoke, thinking foolishly that the smoke it's just going to stay outside!

We used to come to this hotel quite regularly a few years ago, and it has changed quite a lot.

Positive: We got charged to another room with two queen bed . Big room with tv microwave. Breakfast included. Negative: My room was only with one queen bed. When I say I want to change it the answer was no. You went to the room we can?t change it. It took the manager to change our room. Manager didnt appolagize for situations. It should be a free room exchange

We stayed for 2 nights in low season. It was very nice, the room was big, good wifi, all front desk clerks were friendly. Maybe the breakfast lady could also say "good morning" and not only asking for the room number. Breakfast was good. Otherwise great location and surprisingly nice at the price point.

Positive: Quiet close to stores Negative: Staff could have been more friendly although the one gentleman when I checked out at 6am was really really nice I appreciated him. The rest of them were on their phones the whole time

Positive: "" Negative: The room was disgusting with blood on the sheets and other random stains. The bathroom wasn?t cleaned at all and the room needed a good vacuum desperately. The manager of this hotel was awful towards us even though we weren?t trying to make a huge deal.

No stars for this place. They make up lies to keep your deposit. Their jacuzzi tub is an electrical hazard. The staff is dishonest and extremely rude. Super trashy and I regret my stay there.

The bed was hard & hurt my back, the hotel had ppl coming in off the street for breakfast that weren't paying guests. The Jacuzzi tub worked only when it wanted to. We won't be returning.

Husband and I thought we would get away for a night, thinking that this place is easy access is true except for the places surrounded by druggie and homeless everywhere. Lots of garbage. Very poor lighting, had to put fake security camera in my car due to how much activity is outside with their issue there. Staff was polite when we got our key, upon entering our room disgusting is all I can tell you extremely outdated, very dirty. Experience as a cleaner here so knowing what to look for. Handprints and food prints on surfaces very sticky, broken cracked yellow lamps, checked the bed of course for bed bugs and found mattress covered in blood. Wonderful. Room is non-smoking but reeks of cigarette smoke like a casino. Husband and I were so grossed out we literally went next door and bought cleaning supplies just to make it through the night to sanitize where we are staying. Cigarette burns on tub and walls very questionable about their cleaning staff here. Would not pick this location again please do not bring your family. Lots of characters that would question safety also.
