Booked hotel for 2 days. I called in advance to ensure that the pool was open and was told twice that it was. On the day of check in I called and asked again for clarification and was told that it was open. When myself and my kids went to check in, they tried to make me pay again.
However once we made it to the room, it wasn’t clean. I had to wipe down everything with Clorox wipes. Spread was covered with burn holes. The floors were horrible!
We tried to make the best of it by going to the B pool. It was locked! After I had asked before getting there if it was open. Called the front desk and was told that it was closed due to maintenance ‘she guess’. Hotel guests were outside asking my kids if they knew where to get drugs from. My Last time patronizing this place. The staff was extremely rude at the front desk. No customer service skills at all!

Check in and the room was fine. I'm leaving a low rating because both Expedia and the Choice Hotels/Quality Inn website list the pet fee at $20 per pet. However, the hotel charged me $40 per pet. After I'd paid, I double-checked the price on Expedia and went back to the front desk a few minutes later to get a refund for the difference. The receptionist told me that the hotel can't control what Expedia lists, and that $40 is their fee. I later checked the Choice Hotels website, and it also lists $20 per pet. When I pointed this out at checkout the next morning, I was again told the fee is $40. This is not posted anywhere in the lobby, and, when I asked for this policy in writing, the receptionist could not produce it. The onsite manager was sympathetic but said she couldn't authorize the refund. She took my information down and said the owner of the hotel would call me. Later that day, the manager called and said I would be refunded.

All this is to say, this was far more work and annoyance I wanted on the first day of my "vacation." The pet fee is a complete bait-and-switch. I do hope both Expedia and Choice Hotels addresses this with the operator of this hotel.

Positive: not too much Negative: the room had roaches, and the towels were stain, and the bed headboard was soil with greasy stains all over it. I will NOT go back to this hotel ever again!!!

Its in a decent area but had alot of dope heads, even had a man passed out at the pool all day. The pool was green and the 4 days i stayed they didnt clean it once. Spilled a drink in the floor and cleaned it up with a towel, it turned the towel black housekeeping had to throw it away the next day. We had our dog so we had the dnd sign on the door the first day we got here so we didn’t receive housekeeping obviously, but we had asked the frint desk that morning for extra towels and we never got them so when we got back to the room that night it was 11 and i went to ask the nightshift girl for a few towels. She said “they didnt bring towels and your just coming at 11 at night to get some” and continued to be rude and unprofessional until we walked out. Ive worked every part of a hotel and its never been a problem for a guest to ask for a damn towel no matter what time it is. Morning shift man was really nice if you stay here id keep all interactions with dayshift.

Positive: ONLY LOCATION!!! Negative: It was filthy, and not enough towels,the floor was sticky, bed cover had burned holes in it! Asked for towels, got bath mats instead!! 1 of my rooms had a sink leak! Could not get it fixed until we checked out! Stay folks sitting outside our room!

Bedframes are metal. Bedframes are much larger than mattress. Hard on your toes.
Breakfast awful. Instant coffee. Yogurt, cereal and waffle maker that doesn't cook. No jelly.
Stayed in Quality in Abingdon the night before. A much better experience.

Staff was fine, rooms looked really nice. My only issue was the floor in the room. Looks nice, but walk around a few times bare fitted and the bottom of your feet look like you walked outside.

Positive: The pool. Negative: The people up front were rude as well as the cleaning people. The pool closed at 8 p.m. and didn?t open til 10 a.m. those hours are horrible! I won?t be back.
