The Fishing was great! Our captain, Alex took us to all the best locations. We also saw whales, sea lions, sea otters, porposes & bears. Catching an octopus was a huge surprise. The accomadations were comfortable and the 7 course meals by the chef were perfect. We appreciate all the hard work the staff put in to make our stay enjoyable, especially cleaning and boxing up our catch so we could bring it home. Thank you to everyone we look forward to returning.

There aren't enough words allowed in this box to describe my experience at Pybus! Everything from the amazing friendly staff, to the beautiful cabins and super comfortable lodging, to the delicious 5 Star meals, to the nonstop fishing and comfortable boats! Not to mention the never ending amazing views and wildlife that are constantly changing and get better with each passing moment outdoors! This was a great trip with friends and co workers, but I will be returning with my wife and kids to share it all with them! Thanks for the memories!

Everything was so well run. Flights from and to Juneau to Pybus Point were fun. Lodging was great. Had some wildlife right outside our front door. Fishing was a great learning experience. Trip to glacier was awesome. Meals were fantastic and filling. Open access to snacks, beverages and coffee. All the staff were so welcoming and friendly. Darryl went beyond in providing a guided skiff trip to try and see eagles. Located a nest with adults and juvenile. Got to see water wildlife. It was a once in a lifetime trip.

My son, daughter and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Pybus Point Lodge, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this place is a gem. The fishing experience was nothing short of spectacular—halibut, rock fish, ling cod, and salmon were all plentiful, and our guide Alex is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about ensuring we had a great time. He's the most patient guide I have ever experienced.

The food at the lodge was exceptional. Every meal was a delightful experience, with dishes that were both delicious and beautifully presented. It’s evident that the kitchen staff takes great pride in their craft.

What truly set Pybus Point Lodge apart, though, was the incredible service and hospitality. The entire team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. Their attention to detail was remarkable, and they made sure that every aspect of our stay was perfect.

The remote location is simply breathtaking. Surrounded by stunning natural beauty, it offers a peaceful and serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It’s the perfect backdrop for a memorable fishing trip.

If you’re looking for a top-notch fishing experience combined with outstanding service and a picturesque setting, Pybus Point Lodge is a first class operation and the place to be. I can’t wait to return!

This place had the best fishing and family fun out there . We caught Halibut ,salmon ,rock fish and cod . The trip to the glacier was an added bonus. We saw hump back whales ,orca , sea otters , jelly fish,sea otters and mountain goats . The captains were so kind to my daughter and helped us out how ever they could . The rooms were very clean and comfortable . The staff attentive to our needs and made sure we had everything we needed to be happy . The food was on point from a 5 course meal to an open buffet on the deck . I would recommend Pybus to anyone . It was so much fun !

This is the trip that literally took my breath away every single day. The staff are so kind, they went above and beyond daily, even responding to special requests. The food is amazing! Not only do you never need to think about meal prep while there but you also never need to worry if you’ll like it. It’s all amazing. There are also options that could satisfy any picky eater as well as so many snacks you’ll never go hungry. That’s all just extra compared to the amazing location. The bears, whales, eagles, otters, jellyfish, starfish, and fish variety are so fun to see on your fishing trips. We saw so many whales! Our guide was so good at teaching me how to fish for each type of fish. He knew exactly where to go to find them, there was never a dull moment out fishing. The cabins are beautiful and stocked with games and pool table. The bed might have been the most comfortable one I’ve ever slept in. When the trip is over they send your catch home with you in the most perfectly packed and frozen boxes it makes flying with them so easy. The best souvenir is the fish that filled my freezer and brings the best memories each time I cook it.

The most friendly staff out there. They will cater to any need and their whole goal is for you to never forget your time in Alaska! The captains are friendly and are always looking out for your best interest. Deck hands are genuinely helpful. And the meal crew are extremely kind.

10 out of 10!|I can't begin to describe our vacation to Pybus Point Lodge. |We found this hidden gem via Google.|We reached out and spoke to Daryl. He communicated with us immediately and answered all of our questions and gave us all of the information we needed to make our decision and book our trip.|Daryl was extremely efficient with communication and we were never left wondering. Everything was explained thourougly.|Upon arrival at the Lodge we were greeted by the staff! All of the staff. They immediately welcomed us, issued our gear, assigned our rooms, our boat Captain, and it was all such a delightful seamless process. We were ready to fish! They made it so easy.|My husband and I immediately made friends with the captain and the other couples there.|We caught a variety of fish and enjoyed the comfort of the heated boat, the potty, the company, and most especially, the scenery. Alaska is breathtaking and there's so much to see.|We caught our limit of fish daily and took in the sights as we fished. Wildlife was plentiful and we took time to take it all in. |My husband and I have been on guided fishing trips before and this was by far the very best. I have also vacationed around the world and I have to say that Alaska and our vacation at Pybus Point Lodge is probably my number one. Seriously.|My husband and another fisherman took out a skiff one day after returning to the lodge and I jumped on a kayak and was taken to another planet. Nothing but the snow capped mountains surrounding me. It was magnificent.|If you're on the fence, book it! Just do it! You won't regret it.|Thank you to Daryl, Captain Jeff, and ALL the staff who welcomed us and made it such a memorable experience. It truly takes a village. ||We made memories and friendships that will last a lifetime. |ps...even if you don't fish you will enjoy it. Fortunately the other two women we shared a boat with enjoyed fishing and we all had a blast.
