I’ve been a resident for three years and have seen Promenade Café go downhill since Aramark took over management a few months ago. The manager is rarely present, and service has noticeably declined. Staff attitudes are poor, especially one rude and inconsiderate Greek woman who acts like she hates being there.

Food quality has dropped while prices have increased by 1.5x, making it hard to justify eating here. What was once a great spot now feels overpriced and unwelcoming.

Karaoke nights are chaotic, with minors running around the bar while staff do nothing. The crowd consists of non-residents, snowflakes, and regulars who loiter without contributing to the business.

Overall, this place has lost its charm. Without better management, improved service, and reasonable pricing, more residents will take their business elsewhere.

the new cafe management company is terrible. the food used to be better and staff were nicer. one of the baristas is extremely rude. she always gossips and talk poorly about cafe regulars. an old italian lady. i will make sure to let everyone in irvine company corporate know about this situation.

I just don’t give 5 stars because some foods have no label, I can not tell what is is. The juices for example, how I suppose to know? Other than that everything is very good. Ambient is perfect, calm and clean. Staff is very friendly.

Great spot for coffee and sitting down and working or chatting with people. Also has Google Fiber internet which is high-speed and makes everything quick. The go-to spot in the area if you want Coffee and high-speed internet, even if you're not a resident of the complex.

Honestly I keep coming to this place because Mallory makes phenomenal drinks and always provides great customer service! When you have good drinks and good service I keeps me coming back! She is always keeping the place clean on her spare time when it’s not crazy here. The ambiance is really pleasant not too loud, I can still work and be on phone calls through the day.

Atmosphere here is relaxing and amazing but coffee is awfully disgusting, so I recommend wine 🍷👍

Great cafe in the neighborhood! Lots of snack and drink options to choose from. They even have frozen whole pies available for purchase! There’s a full bar with a cocktail and beer/wine menu as well as a Starbucks coffee station that obviously serves coffee as well as smoothies. They have some basic cafe foods available like sandwiches and some various appetizers.
Great sitting area outside with an assortment of tables and couches. There are outlets available so it’s a great spot to sit and work. The outdoor area is partially covered and provides some shade from the sun.

Horrible cafe. I have lived in this neighborhood for 4 years and this cafe is getting worse and worse. They have the rudest people working there, especially the older Hispanic lady with glasses, Lisbia Monte’s. Anytime I come in with my family she is disrespectful and rude she should be fired but the management doesn’t care.The coffee always tastes like burnt poop and they are out of many items often. This is a complete waste of a space as it could actually be something great but instead it’s run by a money hungry person who allows rude employees to work there.
