Waterfront dining reaches new heights at this charming seafood spot, where fresh catches and live music create an enchanting coastal experience.

Operating as a casual counter-service establishment, this riverside eatery keeps things simple and efficient. You'll place your order at the rustic barn-style entrance, receive a number, and the food is promptly delivered to your table. While it's self-bussing and no-frills in terms of service, this laid-back approach fits perfectly with the restaurant's coastal vibe.

Nestled along the riverbank, this restaurant combines the day's freshest seafood with an atmospheric setting that's hard to beat. The outdoor seating area, tucked into a peaceful cove, offers front-row views of passing boats while live music fills the air with melody.

The menu's star performers are the fresh-shucked oysters – pristinely fresh and ocean-sweet, they're an absolute must-try for seafood purists. The lobster bisque is another highlight, striking the perfect balance of creaminess and sweet, delicate flavor that warms you from the inside out.

The rock cod fish taco delivers on both taste and quality, featuring perfectly cooked fish that speaks to the kitchen's commitment to freshness. While their signature crab sandwich showcases sweet, fresh crab meat, it could benefit from bolder seasoning to elevate it from good to extraordinary.

What truly sets this place apart is its ambiance. The waterfront deck creates an idyllic setting for a leisurely meal, while talented live musicians enhance the experience with their performances. It's the kind of place where you can lose track of time, watching boats glide by while savoring the ocean's bounty.

Despite minor room for improvement with some dishes, this restaurant stands out as a top dining destination in the area. Between the fresh seafood, stunning location, and atmospheric entertainment, it's created a winning formula that keeps diners coming back for more.

The Verdict: For anyone seeking fresh seafood in a picturesque setting, this waterfront gem delivers an experience that engages all the senses. The fast-casual service style keeps things moving while allowing guests to focus on what matters most – the delicious food, waterfront views, and live music that makes this spot truly special.

Went to the deli and the gals there are hard workers!! I was told the owner catches her own fish and has for years!! The oysters were amazing and the customer service was very authentic. Gal that helped us had curly reddish hair and bandanna. Crab sandwich was good too!!!

Today I was treated to lunch by a pillar of the Mendocino County Community, he obviously didn’t get the memo about me 😉. We decided on Princess and to be there a few before it opened as a crowd forms due to the quality. Happily we were first and on his recommendation I chose the Poke Bowl. We also shared some Oysters. First the staff cares about what they do, everything was in its place and the staff attentive. I’m a huge fan of the harbor and this location at the west end is prime for great views. The spot is warm and inviting with heaters and tented dining when there is inclement weather as well as a fabulous deck with stellar views. The food came quickly and it was divine. I’ll eat any oyster 🦪, but these would make even haters change their mind. The perfect size and slid right from their shells. The Poke Bowl special was poetry. A perfect combination of flavor, texture, and warm versus cold. It could make me do a fish Friday EVERY week. This spot has quickly made a name for itself and has taken our town by storm.

Our family loved coming here for dinner! Kids burger beat the wharf’s kid burger. The live music by Jerry was lovely. Just something about a man and his guitar! It’s a dog friendly place. You order and then go to your seat and they bring out the food. It was outdoors but covered and there were some really warm propane outdoor stand heaters that kept everything toasty, despite being basically on the water. Food was excellent! Highly recommend the shrimp Louie! My boys hogged down the shrimp po boys. There’s a wide selection of beer too. It’s not cheap, but it was worth the money we paid

The atmosphere was fun and the views were nice. We went in February so it was cold, windy, and raining; I can imagine it’s very nice to hang out in warm weather. All seats are outdoors in a tent with space heaters, we were quite comfortable despite the cold, wind and rain. The food was mediocre, it really lacked flavor. Staff was friendly.

The food lacked flavor and not for a sophisticated palette (bland). The ceviche lacked zing such as lime or lemon plus basic store bought chips. The fish tacos and beans were pretty good. The lobster bisque had a weird texture and taste. The tuna bowl was good but the seaweed was overly fishy. Good beers!

On a sunny, or a foggy day; this spot always serves fresh food. Highly recommend their lobster bisque and crab roll, the kombucha and beer selections are also on point.
Ella, at the order window was extremely helpful and assisted us with the specials.
PS: Dogs are allowed on the premises, and they even have a dog bowl to order!!!
We love this place.
