Absolutely not what I expected lol. Huge natural walking area. Great flat and maintained walking paths. Parking area doesn't look like you should be parking there because of the city trucks but it's perfectly fine. One of the few cool places in Lancaster. These trees are always cool.

A beautiful escape into nature. Shame the visitor center was closed when we visited. Lots of handicapped accessible trails. A very nice example of life in the high desert.

Get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and get back to what it was. You're truly embraced by nature here. Both short and long trails, with bench seating to enjoy yourself in the beauty of the desert. Visitors center was very nice, with well educated staff. Great for nature walks, jogging or just to simply get away and be in tranquility.
