Heard alot of them gym so I had to see the hype. There was indoor turf where the lockerooms and spin class room is. Above there is a cushioned track that circled the turf down below. The office/entrance is in the middle and their Grill is right above. We didnt get to try the grill cause apparently it was order ahead meal preps, not walk ups. On the right side is a big open area packed with weightlifting equipment and mirrors on each wall. My only negative is the lockerooms, the saunas advertised were a broken 2 seater. There was no mirrors within the lockerooms. They had machines ive always wanted to try. We went for Leg Day and it hit. If your in the area I do recommend

Power Up is the best place to be motivated to better yourself each time you step into this gym!! So many knowledgeable trainers and hard working people surround you! I love how the gym offers a variety of classes, equipment (both for strength training & cardio) and even the Grille to grab meals before ya go! Def recommend!

Power Up is one of the best fitness and wellness centers available to residents of the tri-state area. If you live in Putnam or Cabell county, there are no other options in my opinion.
They offer such a wide variety of equipment and services that it’s easy to find exactly what you need, no matter your fitness level or goals. Taylor, the staff, and the trainers at Power Up are incredible—super knowledgeable, approachable, and always ready to help. You can tell they genuinely care about their people.

I also have to mention their meal prep service. The meals are not only healthy but actually taste great, which is rare! It’s been a huge help for staying on track with my nutrition.

If you’re serious about your fitness or just want a supportive place to start, Power Up is the place to be. Highly recommended!

Great atmosphere. I love the Turf on the inside portion. There’s separate rooms for people who don’t want to be in the gym with a bunch of people. I hate that the sauna is no longer there though. There is a free weight section, an aerobic area that is elevated over the free weight area which is kinda cool and there is a walking track that is elevated above the turfed area. I have not been back in a little while but the food use to be so good as well. Super helpful staff and just an easy atmosphere. You definitely have to get used to the flow of the gym Yes you are gonna see some “meatheads” in there but it’s not like your typical gym the guys are very friendly and helpful to anybody. They also offer classes like Zumba, Yoga, strength training classes. I have not used any of the tanning beds but I do know that they are there.

This place has gone to complete crap! It was amazing years ago but not now. Saunas are all broken and never get fixed, treadmills broken and never get fixed. DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT! Run away from this place and go anywhere else, you’ll thank me later!

The equipment is solid when is works. Repairs take forever. It's a family gym so be prepared for kids running around and kicking soccer balls everywhere while you're working out.

Great workout facility! Friendly staff, equipment galore! Classes are pretty awesome too!
