Yummy breakfast, portion is right proportion with pricing. Staff is friendly, ambiance is not overwhelming like black diner. More laid back setting. Order first before you can seat. There's breakfast, lunch, hot beverage, appetizer, no french fries but there's burgers. Cute funny decors. Lots of sitting and parking. Service is quick about 10min wait.

Our favorite after an early flight back to Seattle has re opened and is amazing! The staff so welcoming, helpful and kind! They look like they truly enjoy their jobs! Food is large portions and came out very quick!! So glad to be coming back!! The French toast was amazing and the breakfast sandwich was gone quickly by my husband.

For about $15 I had a hot half corned beef sandwich with sauerkraut and cheese on dark rye, a healthy mixed green salad with a tasty ranch dressing, and a 16 oz four shot coffee. It was delivered to the table promptly. I was asked if everything was OK not long after. Good service, good food, great value 🙂

The setup is pretty standard—you order at the register, and they bring your food to the table. After placing a large order, we were excited to dig in, especially since the portions and presentation looked fantastic when they arrived.

However the pancakes had a gummy texture that made them hard to enjoy. My son did not enjoy his waffle & my husband’s corned beef hash was extra chewy, making it difficult for him to savor his meal as well.

We did enjoy the eggs, bacon & tuna melt w/ chips.

I really wanted to love this place but they kinda missed the mark for us. I might give it another chance in the future.

We've been planning to go to this cafe right across the street for too long and today we realized how much we've missed. Great staff, an incredibly cozy place where you want to stay longer, delicious food, lots of filling in the croissant. We'll definitely be dropping by more often!

We were in the area to drop off our RV for repair and looking for brunch options in the immediate area. Located this place and so glad we did. It’s super cute and a great option if in the area. Parking lot was busy as it had a Saturday market. You order at the counter and find a seat (in door or outdoor options). They bring your order to you (less drinks). Food was delivered quickly and it was fantastic. Love house made salads and this one was one of the best. BLT are light/filling for the weather at this time of year and this one was spot on for what I was seeking. The Breakfast burrito is a great choice if looking for breakfast after the normal time as breakfast is served all day on Saturdays. Overall it’s a wonderful place and definitely worth giving it a shot if in the area

This is a hidden gem in my opinion. Friendly staff, fast service, good food and a great cause. I highly recommend this spot for breakfast. Also, purchased locally roasted coffee beans with the cutest local names. Nice touch! The people who complain that you order at the counter and have to get your own creamer are just lazy. Lavender lattes are to find where I live. This place has it! Don’t forget to visit Fusion, which is the same company, next door if you like thrifted furniture.

Old review at the bottom of this update.

UPDATE: Poverty Bay must have hit the poverty line with our meals. 2 weeks ago the portion sizes and quality was amazing. This morning, we came back and it was like they were trying to limit our portion sizes. We ordered 4 of the same dish and it looks like you made one dish for every 2 orders. I’m not complaining about the QUALITY. The QUANTITY leaves a lot to be desired. If you look at the photos below, you can definitely see there is LESS food per dish vs. 2 weeks ago.

In addition, my wife said her cappuccino was mostly foam.

What happened Poverty Bay?

Previous review: Wonderful cafe tucked away from everything. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

We ordered a hot mocha and a cold mocha, and it didn’t disappoint. Just enough coffee and chocolate mixture.

For food, my daughter ordered the 1/2 BLT. The bacon was very flavorful and the sandwich was substantial if you don’t want a big meal.

I ordered the corned beef hash breakfast plate. The corned beef mix DID NOT come from a can. The chunks of potatoes, peppers, onions, and corned beef were excellent with the eggs and side of toast.
