the owner is very kind and attentive, which makes our visit that much nicer. this place is better than the other 3 coffee shops n Oakland in my opinion. it's always a must stop on our way thru terra alta. my chai is made from good quality spices not a premix, not overly sweet and comes in a large. shoofly only has it in small size. amazing coffee, crazy delicious baked goods, and they offer Dorothy's jelly (the wonderful blueberry lady in rowlesburg). stop in and support this gem in terra alta

Coffee is so delicious, fresh and made to order. All pastries are made from scratch from local bakers. The atmosphere and decor are super cozy and inviting. 10/10 recommend if you live here or passing through. Worth the stop to check it out and enjoy some delicious treats.

It was a nice little place. Staff was helpful when helping me decide what to drink. The only thing is I’m glad I got lightly sweet, because it was very sweet, to both me and my boyfriend. But I will definitely will be back. Great experience!

One of my most favorite small town cofee shops. Caramel and Butter Pecan Iced Latte is the best! If you enjoy scones, you must try the blueberry.

Im a huge coffee lover & I am a frequent visitor to Portland. What makes this place so special are the people & atmosphere. Stephanie & her staff will go above & beyond to help you make a choice or to come up with a new concoction to try! Which I love this about the place. The options are endless for flavors & drinks. The coffee cubes are a personal favorite & an extra added bonus to any iced coffee you may get. I've tried many flavors & drinks & have never been disappointed. I especially like all the sugar free options. Most places have one or two, but at Portland they have several! The coffee is always fresh & perfect for my morning commute to work or just to grab one on a Saturday and go back home. The baked goods are so fresh & tasty too! I am thankful they are in Terra Alta & can't wait to see them expand! I LOVE this place and if you haven't tried it yet, you definitely should! 10 star rating from me! You guys ROCK!!!!

I met Stephanie and her family at another venue in Terra Alta. Truthfully I didn’t realize that there was a coffee shop in town when they said that they owned one. Next morning I visited and couldn’t have asked for better coffee and the apple pastry was to die for. Extremely clean and well thought out shop. When I read their “Mission Statement” I was even more impressed. Great moral compass. I’ll be back!

Portland Coffee was a great way to start our morning. You walk in and the smell of coffee is just what we needed to start our day. As wonderful as the smell was the coffee was just as wonderful! The blueberry scone and blueberry muffin were delicious and the owners know how to treat their customers. People came in and they knew their orders. If you ever visit Alpine Lake please stop in, you won't be disappointed at all! I forgot to mention the coffee cubes, I never had them before and once they melt it is like having a second cup of coffee!!
