Plaza Resort & Spa - Palm Springs, California

My son and I had a wonderful week long stay at the Plaza. The rooms were clean, up to date, included a nice kitchenette and the bed was extremely comfortable. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The pools were clean and always ready for a good time. We really liked being able to browse their large selection of dvd's, to relax and unwind after a full day of activities. The Plaza is in a perfect location. It's quiet, but close to so many different stores and things to do. Highly recommend staying here and look forward to the opportunity to do so, again.

The rooms are terrible. They are a bit old and kinda dated. They don't have a washer or dryer and stove like other rooms with this company. There is a strange odor.

But the employees are amazing. The front desk is nice. And the maintenance guy Jeff has some of the best customer service skills I've ever seen.

Mostly a timeshare resort also open to the public. Although it's an older building it is very well maintained and staff are super helpful. All 1 bedroom and studio units have kitchens. It sits on the Taquitz golf course so has nice views. Two pools and Jacuzzis plus a nice BBQ area. There's also a small gym and sauna.

Room was sparsely furnished; felt like a prison. Room had strong odor of cigarettes. Kitchen was well equipped. Beds were comfy. Staff was polite and attentive.

pros: Central location for downtown palm springs. everything we wanted to do was within 15 minutes. The neighborhood felt safe, walking loops through residential blocks available. nice food grilling area by pool. pet friendly, seemed everyone had little dogs on Vaca.
cons: I missed garbage disposable but the compose collection point was a walk out to one of the two pools. missed dishwasher, oven and in room laundry.

Excellent Service and staff - very friendly and helpful, we really enjoyed our stay there. We had a one bedroom suite, with 2 rooms, 2 toilets, 2 showers and a kitchen with dish washer etc. A/C was quite new, energy efficient and super quiet (I have similar device from Mitsubishi at home, these are the best!). Just put it on lowest setting and enjoy sleeping with 72F - 22C. Weather in Palm Spring had record-high temperatures of 110F - 43C, no problem even at the pool due to brumisator spraying water and keeping you cool.
2 pool areas, one busy, one quiet, all very nice. There are a few gas BBQ grills, which are free to use for everyone, just the right thing for a few steaks in the evening - feeling like home for me.

Regarding service I have to say, that staff is still limited due to the corona situation, but I had everything I needed during my 3 days stay. There was no daily room service, but when I had a problem (only once, I could not find washing powder for the laundry), they immediately helped me within a few minutes. I did not miss anything.

Old needs renovation. Our room had a strange odors. Kitchen cabinets are from the sixties. We were booked for a week as a gift from Whyham and left after 2 days.

We had a really great time at The Wyndham Plaza Resort and Spa. We were there for a week and loved the location, pool and Jacuzzis. Walking distance to Trader Joe's and Target and lots of great eating nearby.
