Second visit to Piney Hill and can't wait to return again! Hank and Wiley are excellent hosts and innkeepers--they tend to all your needs, provide exceptional service, and delicious breakfasts, when you can meet other guests. Piney Hill's setting is beautiful, with Virginia countryside at its best, great sunrises and sunsets and near lovely places to visit. One of my favorite things while there was just relaxing on the porch and enjoying the beautiful view from the house.

My husband and I recently booked a weekend stay at Piney Hill Bed & Breakfast and Cottages. We felt right at home a soon as we stepped inside. || ||We were celebrating my birthday which the hosts recognized by having delicious cupcakes waiting for us in our room one evening after dinner along with a birthday card! So sweet! ||||The room was clean, cozy and charming. There was an ensuite bathroom in the Emma Ruffner Rogers room in addition to the queen-sized bed and there were amenities provided just in case you forgot something at home. We enjoyed homemade chocolate chip cookies (my husband’s favorite) the day we arrived.||||We loved the delicious breakfast each morning. The homemade cinnamon rolls, quiche and French Toast were delicious! We enjoyed chatting it up with Wiley & Hank as they were always ready with helpful tips and recommendations for exploring the Luray area.||||The B&B was close to Luray Caverns, restaurants, and the Luray downtown area. No matter whether you’re looking to relax or explore Luray, Piney Hill B&B provides the perfect place for a comfortable stay.||||We look forward to returning in the future!

We enjoyed our Valentines' getaway at this beautifully decorated home. The host are super nice and friendly and give you an "at home" appeal. Everything from the sweet host Hank , lovely room, yummy desserts, beautiful decor, and delicious breakfast made by Wiley was on point for a great weekend. Even "Bob the dog" was friendly. |We definately recommend this treasure and will visit here again.

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Piney Hill Bed & Breakfast and Cottages over the weekend, and it was a delightful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy atmosphere that made us feel right at home, like members of Wiley and Hank’s extended family.

We were celebrating my birthday, and the hosts made it extra special by surprising us with delicious cupcakes and a birthday card in our room one evening after dinner. It was such a sweet gesture!

Our room, the Emma Ruffner Rogers room, was impeccably clean and offered a perfect blend of comfort and charm. The ensuite bathroom, comfy queen-sized bed, and top-notch amenities made our stay even more enjoyable. Plus, the homemade chocolate chip cookies upon arrival were a delightful treat.
One of the highlights of our stay was the delicious breakfast each morning. The variety and quality of the food were outstanding, with fresh, homemade dishes that made each meal a treat. What a gem we found! Piney Hill was exactly what we were looking for to get out of the Florida heat and enjoy some fall weather. The hosts were so nice, the breakfast each morning was absolutely delicious and the afternoon treats were a nice surprise. We stayed in the Hurley Byrd cabin, very nice! Similar to a studio suite with plenty of room, large bathroom, a kitchenette and a wonderful screened in porch as well as a little deck with chairs off the back with a beautiful view. It is in the country but surprisingly close to downtown Luray. We wish we would have been able to stay longer and will definitely come back, highly recommend! Thank you Hank and Wiley!

If you’re looking for a getaway with Amazing Views, Great Hospitality, and an Awesome Breakfast, you need to book a stay or two at Piney Hill Bed and Breakfast!! My Husband and I have stayed here several times, and it never disappoints! We recently stayed in the Hurley Bird Cottage which we love, but we’ve also stayed in the house and love that too! Hank and Wiley are the best and are not just considered our friends, but are more like family to us now. Book your stay, I promise you will love it!

My husband and I stayed at Piney Hill for an anniversary weekend. We stayed in the Mark Ruffner room and had a wonderful time!! I stayed there with my mother and sister many years ago and wouldn’t stay anywhere else if I was traveling to the Shenandoah area again. Hank and Wiley are wonderful hosts. The breakfasts are amazing (and filling!) and they are very helpful with suggestions for things to do and places to eat. The house was very quiet, even though it was full when we were there. We loved sitting on the porch, watching the scenery and cows, and enjoyed the fire pit, as well!
