We spent labor day weekend here, the staff were the NICEST people and the campsites were awesome! It was just me and my husband and we day-hiked the Stuart Fork trail, it's about 3 miles to the trailhead. The flush toilets and hot showers made it nice and comfy. Campground is very well kept, and even has a pool and lake access, as well as access to a cool trail around the lake. We will definitely be back!

They play blasting loud music until 2am that is easily heard across the lake and in surrounding campgrounds. (It sounded like a party on our shoreline, it was so loud!) It ruins the camping experience for everyone around this part of the lake. Nothing like trying to enjoy a campfire to rave music and constant screaming. Keeps young kids awake and can be very difficult to get any sleep. Please add a sound ordinance, even ending at 11pm would be improvement!
Respect the time and money people put in to come to trinity and let us get some sleep.

I was planning a family reunion and this turned out to be the perfect spot. We all rented nearby cabins, which are not fancy, but very very nice with kitchens, individual bathrooms and a sleeping loft in most of them. I had never been to Trinity Center before and it's gorgeous, remote and a perfect place to chill. We enjoyed the pool and the nearby swimming hole. We rented a pontoon boat at the nearby marina. Hopefully the drought will end and beach access will return. Marie, the owner was wonderful in helping me coordinate this festive event. My family members are definitely wanting to do this again.

Nice people, but poorly maintained cabins.
Things broken or dirty.
BBQ didnt work so had to borrow neighbors.
Towels and sheets we had to pay for ! And sheets were stained !
Only one real bed. Not 6 person cabin as advertised. Futon not good for two adults or rubber mat in loft.
Was very nice to sit out on deck and enjoy nature. GREAT fishing !!đŸŽŖ.

We booked at the KOA like we do every year for a family vacation. However this year the KOA decided to close early after having our stay booked for 3 months. They cut our vacation short and turned a 7 day trip into a 3 day trip just 2 weeks before. Needless to say we had to find a new place to camp. When we found this campground we were quite excited. Showers and Bathrooms were our only requirement. ||We were traveling with 11 adults and 4 kids under 3 and a slightly unstable adult with limited walking distance. The campground was nice and quite. Not many campers as were went at the end of the camping season. The owners were very accommodating and opened back up the pool for us as they had just closed it the week before. There was a playground for the kids to play at (however it is geared for slightly older kids) But was still a great place for them to get out some energy. There was a horseshoe pit a little ways away from our site but not too far. ||The only issue that we had was the campground is built on a hill. This would be fine for couples or families with older children. And it was fine for us however it made us have some limitations on what the kids could do and my MIL. We were constantly chasing balls down the hill or picking up kids that had fallen due to the uneven ground. ||But with that being said I still am happy we found this place. It was super nice to not have other campers cutting through our site, fighting and keeping the kids awake at night with all of their noise like we have at the KOA We really enjoyed the hot showers whenever we chose to take one not having to wait for the water to heat back up or stand in line (however we were the only ones using this bathroom) There is only one bathroom stall and one shower stall in this bathroom and we did not go into any others so not sure how those ones are set up. ||This campground is a middle point for our families to meet up as we live in southern ca and Portland area. we all drive approximately 8 hours to get here so camping for us is a big deal and we enjoy our family time. Having our trip canceled by the KOA was a stressful event but we are super happy we found this place. I hope that the drought is over soon and more water returns to this area as the lake is drying up.

Visited this place recently. Happened to be in the area and decided to stop in. It's closed for winter, but I like the overall look. Great for summer getaways, family reunions, team bonding and/ or summer camping trips. There's tent sites, RV spaces and cabins. I look forward to the spring opening.

We got a very tiny camp site partially on a hill (many sites were flattened). The hill blocked people from being able to sit or move around one side of the fire which really sucked; there was barely any space for chairs. It was also really steep and a couple people hurt themselves slipping on it, including one of the kiddos. Their website definitely needs photos of the sites so you know what you're getting. There were other sites that were much nicer.
The owners seem like nice people though and overall the items and facilities around the campground seemed well maintained. There's a little store on site with snacks and cold drinks (and frozen snacks!) which was great. I'd go back, just would absolutely avoid the space we got before.

Earl and Marie are top notch hosts. Amazing customer service! Pinewood Cove is an amazing gem in the Trinity Alps. The 22 acre campground possesses an amazing canopy of shade throughout the day! RV hookups and campsites with 15+ cabins that possess all the amenities needed for those who may not have camping
gear.
