Basic older campground that needs updating. Most sites are seasonal and they are gravel. Daily sites are grass with low spots and dirt/mud patches but are adequate if it doesn't rain.|| It is a long way to the shower house which is old but clean. However there was no soap in the women's bathroom to wash your hands and the faucets trickled at best with no hot water. ||The 'store' and office was closed (near the end of the season) and didn't see the owner/host until the 3rd day. However they were very understanding when we had to leave a day early and didn't charge us for it.

Owners have a poor understanding of how to run a business. If you have a problem with your they could care less. Our water ran brown/weak. Electricity constantly popped fuses at their box . Pool ph was off (I checked daily and it NEVER was corrected. Bathrooms-new toilet seats /shower heads desperately needed.Hand soap , toilet paper ,paper towels nope you can’t have any. Owners daughter is rude, edgy and condescending.

I did not get a chance to visit, the woman that answers the phone was very rude and short, happy for her having such a busy season, I wanted a week rate, she said she was full till september(23), I asked for a dailey rate, she said "$40." I said "really", she said I was rude and insinuated "I was not on the rich end of the stick. WOW. I did not know that "rich" was a requirement.

Campground is appears to be a full time RV park alongside a campground. Had a negative experience with the owner. While eating dinner and subsequently enjoying time with a visiting friend, we were interrupted by a person who later informed us he was the owner. Without warning, he circled our campsite with his lawn mower. Mowing included the road (rocks) and multiple areas lacking in grass but dirt and creating a dust storm/asthmatic nightmare. So much dust had settled on my phone that I was able to write my name across the screen. Dinner was a bust as dust settled on our food and had to be tossed. My husband politely advised the person mowing of the issue, asking if he was realized he was creating a disturbance. He informed my husband that he was the owner ànd he had to get it done.

I was informed by the person that checked us in a few days prior (owner's wife?) that assistance was only a phone call away, I called the number a couple times. Messages left requesting assistance for a noise disturbance, dust storm creating a health concern and help went unanswered.

Person mowing/owner later came by to say he was sorry but he had a job to do. He said that 'this little bit of peace and tranquility we were enjoying required maintaining" and that it was "too bad" we were there. Wait. WHAT Sorry you have a paying customer?

We were not informed that this disturbing maintenance would be performed during our visit. Mowing could easily have been done after our check-out happening the very next morning. Being the only camper in that section would have simplified mowing and avoided a disturbance. Our safety and we'll being was not a consideration.

Poor customer service, lack of communication, disregard for customer safety, disrespectful attitude and unwillingness to consider customer's needs is why I am giving this campground a single star rating. [See photos]

Great friendly staff and seasonal campers, meet a lot of great people, had a blast playing “A minute to win it”, very organized and LOVE my prize. Our camp site was very clean and quiet close to port a potty. loved seeing family enjoying themselves. The pool was cool and clean. Only gave it a 4 because the shower stall I first went in did not work.

Became a seasonal camper in 2010. Loved it! Very laided back and quiet campground. Invested a lot of time and manual labor maintaining our site. Felt appreciated for our efforts. Owner turned over business to daughter and things began to change. Daughter started changing rules without notifying seasonal campers in writing. Found out, word of mouth, about changes by talking with other seasonal campers Beware of camping here. The new management is very selective in how rules inforced, especially when it involves their own personal friends!!!

The overnight sites are nice with all the shade, right away we noticed that the pool was dirty(steps were dirty in the water) sunday we went back to the pool and it was REALLY dirty! The pool needs to be cleaned on a daily basis and have the chemical levels checked, filters cleaned and etc. Whomever does the maintenance needs to go in the early morning and do this DAILY!! I stepped into the bathrooms and thought this is SO NASTY! It was filthy! Did not look like they had been cleaned all weekend! The showers were filthy!!! With the corona virus so bad you would have thought that they would have been on top of cleaning them OR just not have them accessible! The bathrooms really need a huge overhaul with painting and repairing the shower stalls(floors were a mess) I would like to go back to this campground and I really hope that they CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN! NO EXCUSE NOT TO HAVE CLEAN FACILITIES AND THE POOL WHERE SO MANY ARE USING IT! TAKE THE TIME DAILY TO CLEAN!!!

The location of the campground is in a perfect spot, nicely secluded and surrounded by corn fields. The lots are a little small, making you feel like there is no privacy. The picinic tables were also small. Just to seat 5+ people we needed 2 picnic tables. The bathrooms were dingy and I was afraid to take me shoes off to shower and use the toilet. The bathroom is very outdated and dirty. It needed a good pressure wash! Pool didn't open until 10, and we went on a wild goose chase just to try and find someone working at the campground. The office was closed and no one answered the telephone. The game room was probably the worst. Filthy with no games really, items were probably damaged by campers and not replaced. Pool seemed clean and the camp provided some toys which was nice. Nice little play gorund for kids too, unfortunately the entire playground was in the sun. Pricing was very reasonable, if you can affored to use 2 sites do so, ensuring you have plenty of room A good scrub down and coat of paint is defenitely needed.Overall camping experience ws fun. I would like to return someday when my children are older. 3 out of 5
