You know when you’re driving on the interstate and you see a sign for a random restaurant or sweet shop and know it’s probably not worth the stop, this is NOT that place. Pull over, go out of your way if you have to for this pie shop. Every pie we tried was so good. Unique flavors you haven’t tried and then classics done right. A perfectly sweet, slightly tart key lime pie, a lemon mousse that’s like consuming a cloud, a peach buttermilk pie not even your grandma could make. Mike has a gift and that gift comes in the form of pie. Allison who helped us at the counter was probably the nicest person ever and will restore your faith in the fact that good customer service exists. Pies by Mike will be on every pit stop on any road trip here on out.

Mike’s has so many varieties of pies!! We have tried 4 different kinds so far and they are all delicious!! You are always welcomed with a smile and kind words! I love the 24/7 pie room for the late night craving! You have to stop by! It is amazing!!

Love this place. The pies are awesome! And the customer service is great. This is my must-go-to place on the drive between Mobile and Birmingham (and back). And the vending machine is so easy. Highly recommend!

It’s a joy to stop into Pies by Mike, everyone is so friendly chatting while getting a delicious cup of coffee to go with whatever I fancy in the case! I haven’t had the opportunity to taste all of his yummies but what I have, I love it! It will require more trips but I am more that happy to do it!?

Mike and his wife are super friendly . Mike’s pies are delicious and never disappoint. He has so many varieties and continues to create new recipes. I was in today and tried a new bar he has created.

Wow! I have passed this place so many times driving to Florida and back but never could make it when they were open. Now they have a “Pie Room” where you can just pop in and get a slice. Take the 5 minute detour, buy all of the slices! Definitely more than one of each flavor because we are regretting not buying multiples. Best pies ever!
