Visiting my brother in Atascadero this Thanksgiving and found Phil’s to cater our Thanksgiving meal. Did the dinner for 8 plus a pumpkin pie for an add on $30. My brother picked up the meal and did not notice they’d neglected to include the pie! Tried calling and emailing to no avail. Very disappointing to say the least but the meal itself was excellent, well packaged , easy to reheat and delicious. I especially loved the fresh green bean casserole.

As for the missing pie, got a credit notification this AM and we saved ourselves some calories.

Phil’s catered our wedding reception this weekend, and it was exactly what we were looking for on our special day. The who team was easy to work with from choosing our menu, finalizing details, and hosting our reception. The staff was friendly and attentive, and we had guests raving about the food from the first bite. The tri tip and potatoes au gratin were our personal favorites. You can choose basically any dish on the planet from their menu, and I imagine it is all delicious. Thank you for being a big part of our wedding!

Phils Catering is the real deal. Very professional and food of exceptionally high quality. They were great to deal with and came through big time on my daughter's wedding day. The crab cakes were among the best I have had in my life. Filet mignon, salmon, mashed potatoes, and vegetables were all cooked to perfection. On top of that, they were super friendly and helpful, reducing our stress and improving the atmosphere and ambiance. Highly recommended.

My sister had Phil's Catering cater her wedding in 2017 so when I started wedding planning for my own wedding, Phil's was one of the first vendors we reached out to and we were thrilled that they were available for our date. My sister raved about their service, food and commitment to their clients. No surprise, nearly 6 years later they are still exceptional. From my first encounter with Brittney, I knew we were in great hands. They make everything so simple and they are so experienced they have it all covered, leaving the bride and groom to enjoy the entire experience. It was simple to add on rentals, make selections from their incredible menu and adjust/fine tune details as our date approached. Their team was kind, efficient, experienced and an all around joy to work with. Our guests raved about the food and are still asking us for our caterer's name. Even our vendors loved to hear that we were working with Phil's because they love to work with their team. We are so thankful we were fortunate enough to have Phil's catering on our big day. Phil's Catering was a pleasure to work with during our planning process. They were quick to respond to our inquiry at first then communication started getting spotty the months leading up to our wedding regarding menu changes; I think staffing shortages have been a challenge for many industries. However, they were able to accommodate our requests and executed the dinner buffet service for our wedding well. They had many delicious options available to accommodate our guests' numerous dietary restrictions. We felt at peace the weeks leading up to the wedding.

The passed appetizers were delicious! We had 120 guests and sadly the resounding feedback we got about our buffet was that there was not enough food. Still, the staff was very professional and cheerful throughout our event and it felt well worth the price point. I would recommend Phil's Catering for wedding events in Santa Barbara and it might be worth it to add about 10 guests to the count in order to ensure there is enough food.
