We did the regular dinner cruise to celebrate our anniversary. I truly enjoyed my experience. The waiter was amazing, the food was good, and the music was wonderful. We boarded on time to the EXACT minute. I would have loved to have had the option to sit on the top deck. Maybe I missed it, but I didn't see that option when I booked. Other than that, everything was great overall. I would return again.

Wonderful cast and serving crew! We had a great time celebrating a birthday on the murder mystery dinner cruise.. The food was delicious and the show kept us guessing until the very end. Loads of audience interaction and fun. Will definitely be back again! Thanks for a memorable night!

Reservations were easy, used their web site. The boat is parked / boards directly behind the convention center. Parking is in the garage below the convention center, and easy to park close to the boarding area. It was rainy, so you had to pick your way around the puddles to get to the boarding gate, Bring your own umbrella if it is raining.
We selected the VIP area, which is upstairs.. Due to rain, they had the plastic covers down to keep patrons dry. There is a band on that level in front, with a sign (Private) separating the dance floor and the dining area. Initially, the band was playing pre-recorded music, and once we were underway, they began playing 60s and 70 hits.
One wait staff, she was great. she was working hard to take care of ~20 patrons. Dinner is a Pre-Fix, small dinner salad, chicken, green beans, and a rice ball. Desert was a slice of cake.
Truth in lending, it is a boat.. so dinner wasn't the star of the show. Temperature wise, everything was tepid. (not hot)
Initially, when the band started playing, it was louder than they pre-recorded music was.. after a couple songs, they turned up the volume.. (I think bands feel louder = more fun).. at this point it was getting difficult to have conversation..
There were 3-4 couples dancing.
Then, they switched to more current day music. and turned up the volume again.. a couple folks told the waitstaff that it was too loud, we watched her relay it to the band, and they ignored.
We asked to have it turned down a bit, no luck.
As a result, about half of the patrons decided to leave the area and go outside to the front of the boat.
A small group did a line dance to the current day music, then retuned to their seats. A few folks from the downstairs (enclosed) area, came up to check out the band, stuck their head in, and then left. back downstair or stayed outside.

I gave it 3 stars; good effort, poor execution.

This is the third time I've taken this dinner cruise and this time I went with a good friend to celebrate and it is always a good time beautiful views and always nice other guests to talk to and good music but I will say one thing and I've said it many times before the food served every time we have been is not edible. It is absolutely horrible tasting strange textured cold it is just frankly awful and everyone on the boat did I spoke to agreed. This particular time the food was so bad you didn't exactly know what we were eating. Now I have taken cruises in New Orleans and in other places and they do much much better I'm not going to say it's gourmet but it's tasty fresh good food for your money and this company is simply not putting their best foot forward at all in terms of the meal and I would not accept somebody telling me well all the other customers like it because nobody on that boat like the food it was awful. The service was good it's an enjoyable time but come on you guys get your act together start cooking some stuff that people enjoy that's almost $100 of her earn money and you don't have any right to serve people food that is that literally disgusting.

I enjoy the murder mystery and crowed interaction. The food on the other hand was terrible. Someone in my group found a hair in their salad and the main course didn’t look or taste appetizing. I spent $200 for me and my daughter and neither one of us ate it. Disappointed! The bread pudding was ok, I did eat that.

Mystery dinner was great from the actors, dinner, the cruise which was wonderful. Liked the interaction of the patrons being included in the play. A great experience will definitely do this again.

My husband and I had a wonderful time on the Murder Mystery Cruise! We were on an anniversary trip and decided to book it. It was a great choice and also worth the money. The only complaint we had was that the food was not good at all so eat before you go.
Sincerely,
The Hopkins’

This was the best time I've had in a long time. The cruise members and food were excellent. I will definitely take it again.
