10/10 recommend and if i could give more stars i would. As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a pleasant voice and told to sit anywhere we want. The food was absolutely to die for. I ordered a turkey dinner plate, kids ordered grilled cheese, husband ordered a club sandwich and my oldest ordered chicken tenders. My younger two said it was the best grilled cheese they had ever. My husband also ordered a chef salad which was way to much to finish but was fantastic and as for my turkey dinner phenomenal. For the food you get the price definitely matches. We had tons to take home. Carri our waitress was exceptional. All the food came out all at once except our salads which we requested beforehand. It was nice to be asked if we wanted them with our food or before. The thing I thought was really neat is the walls in the diner from end to end are dry erase boards so my younger two could draw while they waited. We will definitely be back.

A shiny little dream of a diner and our fave spot to stop along the 15 driving out of LA! No-frills, just classic, tasty food with a side of retro, kitschy vibes. We like to sit at the counter and chat with Eduardo, the cook—who is TRULY an absolute gem of a human and such a pleasure—as he whips up our favorites (the Sunrise Skillet, deluxe biscuits & gravy, or even just eggs, bacon & sausage). If you’re craving sweets, the chocolate malt and cinnamon rolls are impressively large and not to be missed! 10/10 would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone making this drive, because it’s truly the people in Penny’s that make it a spot that is not to be missed!

Food was delicious! We always stop at Peggy’s and this time we decided to give this place a shot and I am glad we did. We were greeted upon arrival, server/ cook was super friendly. Food was on point. I ordered the club sandwich which is my usual anywhere I go… it was one of the best I’ve ever had, just perfect. Bf had eggs and pancakes and they were so good! Will definitely be going back soon.

I was incredibly impressed with the food. When we got there we looked around to see a FULL parking lot. That meant good food ahead.

When we went in, we were greeted with 40-50-60's memorabilia everywhere, as far as the eye could see. I loved this place and could stay in it for hours.

The only negative was the attitude of some of the staff, I imagine it was incredibly busy so the stress was showing. That being said, our waiter was kind and had a great memory!

We absolutely loved dining here! The food was delicious and the price was perfectly priced for the quality! The staff was super kind and talked with our 9 month old, as she kept looking over to see what the noises were. Definitely would come back when passing through the area! We ordered the Western Burger, Chili Cheese Burger, and a Strawberry Shake, and have no complaints about anything!

A classic American diner experience! The exterior has a charming, vintage feel, and the staff are incredibly friendly. It seems to be a popular spot for locals, which adds to its authenticity. I decided to visit after hearing from other Japanese travelers that the food was delicious and reasonably priced. The meal was everything you'd expect from an American diner—hearty, satisfying, and full of flavor. If you're looking for a true diner experience, this is definitely the place to go!

Originally we tried eat at Peggy’s Sues but they had no accommodations for outside dining for guests with dogs so we’re going to order to go but they were rude, abrupt and told us we couldn’t order kids meals to go for our 8 & 9 year old. So we left and found Penny’s diner across the way. Better prices! Better food! And they were happy to accommodate us with our dog. The service was pleasant and friendly and our sever went above and beyond to make sure our son who wanted a breakfast burrito with no meat knew the chili sauce had meat so he could change it if he was avoiding meat. Loved that so much! Overall, we loved it and would come back again! Our new place to spot on travel days.

Stopped in for lunch on a road trip for the holidays and really enjoyed Penny’s Diner. It’s a simple, clean place that’s serves delicious diner food. The server and the chef were very friendly and the food was made quickly with fresh ingredients right in front of me as I sat at the counter. All in all a great spot to stop. After my meal I took a chocolate malt milkshake to go that was a perfect treat to top off lunch. Give it a try if you a passing through.
