This bookstore was so beautiful. I went in looking for a particular book and was met with amazing customer service and even though they didn't have it, they recommended like books. It was clean and plenty of room to walk around. The treats and drinks there were really good. It was a great place to get some work done since they have seating in a few areas around the store.

This is the most cozy little book shop. It was very clean and organized. No dust in sight. The employees were very attentive. I asked for some Halloween children's books and the cashier got a ladder out to retrieve them from the very top for us since they were stored away for the season. The coffee shop is super cute with lots of spots to relax and sip. The bathroom was very clean and tidy. I had a very pleasant experience and will return for more books!

When my friend and I entered we saw several tables filled with people in the middle of conversations, enjoying coffee, and/or reading books. This place seemed like a solid community of readers. My friend and I each got a cup of the brewed coffee. It was some of the best coffee I have had in a long time. The baristas were all friendly and kind to the customers. I highly recommend checking this spot out to any caffeine enthusiasts or fans of literature.

Adorable bookstore organized like a library, with cool seating areas and nooks tucked around it. They exclusively sell used books and do book buys on Weds-Sat between 10-4pm. There’s a coffeeshop in it as well with delicious coffee, teas, and pastries. They also have cards and gift wrap if you need to buy a gift for someone. I loved this Anacortes bookstore and definitely will be back. (Spent all my birthday money buying books here.) 😍

PS. If you’re going hiking at Sharpe Park, this is less than 4 miles away… Afterwards you can get lunch or dinner next door at Adrift Cafe.

Pelican is the best. They have the best coffee in the area- hands down. Nothing beats impeccably steamed milk, perfect creamy velvet deliciousness. The bakery goods have a unique selection between savory and sweet. They are all delicious. Then there’s the books! My kids love to explore and pick out a book of their liking while I sip my perfect cuppa. It’s perfection. Love you Pelican.

If you have some spare time before your Anacortes Ferry departure, consider a morning walk along their Main St, (Commercial Ave) and once you hit 6th St. follow the locals and that wonderful aroma of fresh brewed coffee, (and tip the local musician on your way inside). The book store/coffeehouse combo works well here. Walls of inventory and assortment await you in two separate rooms. I loved the old wood floor as it creaked while you moved around the sliding book ladder. There are some tables to eat and sip in the adjoining room. Wonderful light entering the building. I had the Americano, the Figgy Bars, a slice of the Citrus Olive Oil Cake. Grabbed a couple of Rosemary Sea Salt Rolls to go too! Hey! You don't find this assortment of such unique and fresh pastries often, so ya gotta go for it right?! You should too, it's worth your time, and a sit. Support local and grab a book "to go" as well.

A seemingly endless selection of books, the shelves went on and on and on; floor to ceiling, room to room, a truly awe-inspiring experience.

The books are arranged by genre, alphabetically by author, and then alphabetically (again) by book title. Very well organized, easy to find specific titles.

There is a small cafe within the bookstore with refreshing beverages and snacks. You will need to keep your energy up as you explore this paradise for book lovers.
