Great boat cruise around Gig Harbor when we recently had some visiting family. The boat was clean, modern, comfortable and able to get to places quickly. Captain Brian was flexible with what we wanted to see, knowledgeable, kind and gave us some good narration of various sites on the water. Highly recommend Peist Charters and look forward to another cruise with the Captain!

After living and paddling in the PNW for 26 years I was handed a XXL slice of..NO!...pretty much the whole humble pie today. My Son and I were kayaking off of Pt. Defiance and hit very troubled waters. An extremely large eddy put me over for the first time ever and swept us away in the current for nearly half a mile.

Enter Captain Brian Woodward, his vessel, and his lifelong friend. Had it not been for him the situation would most likely been tragic. He went above and beyond what any good Samaritan might do, and more than likely saved my life!

My only wish in those minutes was to not drown or succumb to hypothermia in front of my son who is college bond in days. Brian saved us and even our sea kayaks

I only knew this man for a brief moment in time with a traumatic need, but I assure you if I were to charter a trip with him I would feel in the safest of hands. He was professional and unnaturally calm in an extreme situation...I'm willing to bet he would safely and professionally take you on the best salmon quest.

I thank you Captain Woodard with all my being..my family and friends do as well
