While the staff are wonderful and extremely friendly. The hotel rooms are completely DISGUSTING. the bathrooms don’t look like they’ve been cleaned with actual cleaning supplies or at all! The shower wall had white clumpy stains and clearly the bathtub base had not been cleaned. The toilet was absolutely disgusting. And finally the mattress felt like sleeping on a bale of hay.. was here for a family reunion and I can say without hesitation I definitely won’t be back here to stay again.. disappointed

Looked forward to this trip and was so disappointed . Had trouble sleeping with all the noise in the hallway and the doors closing. The staff at check in, the casino floor and restaurants were in no hurry to seat and serve people. They acted like our presents was an inconvenience . I will never go back. Don't waste your time or money !

this was our second time staying at this hotel, the first time was for 5 days this time for 3 days. On arrival the rooms are clean and nice however both times we have asked for housekeeping services and never received it. In fact housekeeping never came at all. When I asked the front desk about it all they would tell me is they come on the 2nd day, but even then no one never came. When I checked out I was asked how our stay was and when mentioned the housekeeping issue the front desk lady replied with that’s good have a nice day. Other than that it was a good stay.

The hotel staff is very friendly! I had no problem. I have been going to this casino since they opened in 1996. But when I moved closer to Biloxi I see major differences in customer service from the waitresses and other staff. The waitresses in Philadelphia are not friendly at all. I tried to be friendly but they slam your drink in your hand and turn their head before you can even hand them a tip (when they come around). They have no enthusiasm when they come through and don't speak. ||Second, there on my air conditioning vent was black mold. The condensation caused long black streaks of mold down the wall underneath the vent. I couldn't figure out why me and the hubby coughed all weekend and had buring sensations in our noses. We thought it was from all the smoke but before we left the room I checked the thermostat to make sure the air was off I saw all the mold. We were in room 6109. I left a note for the housekeeper to maybe clean it or let management know the ducts need cleaning. They probably have not been cleaned since they opened in 96. ||We enjoy the sports bet bar and grill in the Golden Moon. But other than that ...I think I will stick to the Biloxi/Gulfport area.

This is a nice casino. There are a lot of games to choose from. Also, there are several places to eat. The atmosphere is really inviting and the hotel is family friendly. I enjoyed my stay even though I was alone on business.

We love the Golden Moon. It's our vacation getaway every 2-3 months! (Sometimes more often.)
The staff is wonderful and we have befriended several and that makes it even more special to see your friends on vacation!
It does get abit too loud on Friday and Saturday nights when the bands play. I prefer to hear but have to turn my hearing aides off during that time... but when the bands quit, it's nice again. We do wish they'd fix the elevators though.
Not many seem to alert the staff when something is wrong or needs repair in rooms or elsewhere. So they don't know! The hot water in our VIP s uite was hooked up to a toilet in the bathroom off the livingroom New Years. It wouldn't work so we reported it! It didn't make us mad, just a minor inconvenience. (I wouldn't want that plumber for my own home.)
We can't wait to head back next month! Such a great getaway for us. We love the Bistro 24!!
We met 4 friends there. We often bring friends with us to introduce them to PRR! They live it too!

If I could give this place a 0 star, I would. We parked in the garage and weren’t sure where to check into the hotel at. My husband went up to one of the workers to ask for directions. Their interaction went, “hi, can I ask you a question?” She replied, “No I don’t know you.” So he said, “ I just have a question about checking in”. “I don’t know you, give me your ID.” WHY do we have to show our ID to ask a working employee a question about directions? Ridiculous. I knew then that we were in for a bad time. It’s our wedding anniversary vacation and my mood was already turning bad. Next, we go up to the customer service desk to check in. They tell us the rates have changed and to insert our card. No one explained if the rates went up on down, so I asked and I received another attitude. Sorry, I’m not putting my card in anywhere unless I know how much I am paying. There are too many interactions like this to even name during our 2 nights there. We were on edge the entire time because we didn’t know who was going to snap at us next. Our first interaction with the restaurants was us sitting at the bar and having to wait a really long time for the bartender to look up from his phone. I don’t like having to wave down a worker because I find it rude, but that’s what we had to do to receive service. The food was decent, but that’s the only positive thing I can say about this place. Do not waste your money. We traveled 12 hours to be treated like absolute trash by the unfriendliest staff.

i'm not going to sugar coat the experiences of this past week.....my family and i visit here every other month....i have an 84 year old aunt that enjoys getting out of her home for a small vacation....we checked in on sunday and had made reservations in advance for a full month....they were having a fair there or something....we asked for adjointing rooms because my cousin is her moms caretaker....we had told them we wanted 2 adjointing rooms and one room on the same floor....they had this written down a full month...we have a check in at 4 pm ...go there , our rooms are not ready due to cleaning services was understaffed....come back at 5...we came back at 5 , 6 , 7 and they had given our rooms away to people walking in apparently...so then we got 3 rooms blocked off and awaiting a cleaning, we go to walmart only to return to find out the rooms we had blocked off and waited for was again given away....i ended up 2 floors down from my party and we were told how lucky we were to even get a room...well this room had no door...and the one that did the dorro knob fell off....so this is the golden moons way of making patrons feel welcome...we spend money there alot and we get treated this way? so we ended up at the silver star....nice and friendly staff...they tried and did best they could...but still no excuses of giving our rooms away after reservations a full month ahead.....we are currently looking at other venues to frequent due to the way this was handled ...the hotels needs an upgrade , hire a full staff....i enjoy our visits there but the slots are so tight it's not as it used to be....maybe ill try bilioxi , tunica or wind creek in alabama instead unless they give me better deals...btw we got checked into our rooms at 11 pm cst....and waited since 2 pm.....
