We had the corner room on the second floor which was large and bright. The bathroom is large enough to change clothes in. The location is perfect. We could walk to a bench to watch the sunset in less than 2 minutes. I took a walk down Mission Blvd to Belmont Park which is about 2.2 miles away. The walk was delightful. Lots of small businesses and fun looking houses. Bed was comfortable, there was a small refrigerator and microwave and coffee pot. Thank you!

Having come in from LA late at night, we were pretty tired and stressed. But the front desk team made check-in smooth and pleasant. Elena was polite, professional, and I appreciated how seamless the process was. Great location for the price. I will definitely be staying here again!

While the rooms are nothing fancy, it deserves the full stars because of the value, location, and service. Extremely grateful for this spot. I went to San Diego for the first time with no plans on where to stay, what to do, or any agenda, but ended up meeting some locals at a bar in Pacific Beach and ended up hanging the whole night. This was right down the block and a great deal for a place to sleep for the night.
I accidently booked the room for two nights but only needed it that one night, and the next day the service was terrific and super easy and flexible to adjust the stay to just one night (I was recently laid off and am taking the time to explore SoCal, so this cost savings was a big deal)
Friendly all around and great vibes. Perfect for having a spot to crash near the beach and action and definitely would recommend for anybody looking for a place to stay in the clutch situation.

Tough first night, but great outcome! When we first arrived at night, there was no one to check us in at the sister property. But, we came to find out that they were doing their rounds on the property and solving an issue. We talked to Jim, the manager, and he was absolutely amazing. Extremely helpful and so kind. Ended righting the situation immensely. Would stay again 🙂

The management and maid service is excellent. The location is perfectly located one block from the beach. The rooms are very very lovely. The tv service is very very perfect and the beds are extremely comfortable. The shower is also perfect and the location once again cannot be better!

What a disappointment! Our room was horrible. If they try to book you in room 107 do not take it. It's small, dark, noisy, and on the night we stayed it smelled strongly of weed and cleaning chemicals. There are other rooms that seemed like they might have been better. The location is excellent! It's very close to Pacific Beach.

Once again, I had a great time in San Diego on my birthday with friends and family. I always stay at the PB Surf Beachside Inn. I love the consistency year after year in this friendly hotel! The managment does such a great job. The staff is awesome and accommodating, clean and nice rooms within a great location. The hotel is half a mile from the ocean! So much to do...walk, bike, jog, skate and swim. Along 'Ocean Front', there are fun restaurants, bars, shopping and the cool ocean breeze tops it off. Have fun and highly recommended!
