Great location. You can walk to restaurants, downtown park, movie theater, souvenir shops, etc. The grounds are gorgeous, and the room and bathroom are spacious. Balcony has a small seating arrangement. The site is historic, but the rooms are modern. The down side is having to pay for parking.

I looked forward to my visit to Paso Robles and especially to our stay in this historic inn. I reserved a park-view room ($50 upgrade). When I arrived the excellent location across from park, near restaurants, wineries, and conveniences did not disappoint. My front-desk arrival was a different experience. I received a very tepid welcome from the clerk who neglected to give me a list of amenities which included free wine-tasting and fitness center information among other things. I was assigned a room with well-appointed fixtures and furniture and a large tree completely blocking my sub-par view of an adjacent hotel building. I decided it must be a mistake and returned to the desk to ask for a room I paid for with a view of the city park. I politely spoke with a different clerk who frostily claimed that room views are not guaranteed even though the first bullet point of the room description clearly stated the opposite. I was made to feel like an intrusion instead of a customer as the old saying goes, “People won’t remember what you say but they WILL remember how you made them feel.” After a bit she looked for a park-view room but there were none available so she reluctantly agreed to refund the $50 difference. So many reviewers have noted the great service they received at Paso Robles Inn that I hope it was an off day for staff. I strive to recognize the humanity in every customer service rep I encounter and look for the same from them but compassion was not there and the sting of this experience will endure for me.

Great central location. We always stay here when coming to Paso. Stayed in the old dance hall this time. Took the terraced room. View of parking lot and rooftops. Beautifully appointed room however. Upgraded nicely, recently. Restaurant on sit is good, convenient. Lots of great food, drink options in a walking distance to suit all palates and price ranges. Central point to many wineries. I would like to talk with manager however about some issues that I would rather not share publicly. Recommend rooms with a view of their beautiful courtyard.

What a pleasant surprise. We booked through Capitol One which showed a room with a hot tub on the balcony. Well when we arrived the rooms were no longer available, not booked up, remodeled without the hot tubs. Was almost bummed out until the gentleman behind the desk was very accommodating and moved us to a room with a beautiful tub in the bathroom. So relaxing and the room was so beautiful. They did a great job. The coffee maker made my morning! Walking distance to all the places we love in downtown. Can't wait to go back!

The Paso Robles Inn is truly a gem, deserving far more than five stars. From the moment we arrived, the incredible Alexis duo at check-in made us feel like we’d been lifelong guests. Their warm smiles and exceptional hospitality set the tone for our stay. They seamlessly managed the front desk, juggling calls and guests with grace and professionalism. Despite our booking hiccup (we used a third-party site), they went above and beyond by upgrading our room—a thoughtful gesture that turned our stay into something unforgettable.||We stayed in the Banquet Room section, which was an absolute delight. The electric fireplace and soaking tub provided a cozy and luxurious vibe, and the king-size bed was one of the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in.||For dining, the Cattlemen’s Lounge is a must-visit. The food is phenomenal—we highly recommend the steak bites and mushroom toast. Nate, the bartender, crafted a perfectly smoked Old Fashioned that we’re still raving about. Vanessa’s attentive service was top-notch, and Will, the bar back, is a standout. This young man has a beautiful soul and brings light to anyone’s day—don’t miss the chance to chat with him.||A special shoutout to Brian from maintenance, who went out of his way to help us find our room when we got turned around. His kindness and helpfulness were just another example of the exceptional staff at this hotel.||Located in the heart of downtown Paso Robles, the inn is within walking distance of everything this charming town has to offer. No matter the season, the Paso Robles Inn is the perfect place to stay. We can’t wait to come back!

Came here for a quick weekend getaway with my husband. We were really surprised to arrive to a really cute and aesthetically pleasing, very clean room. I LOVED the fireplace, kept our room warm without over heating. We had a garden view, and it was perfect place to watch the morning fog from our patio chairs while drinking coffee. Very quiet, and quick walk to all of downtown Paso. We had a quick bite to eat at the coffee shop on premise. We had the katsu chicken sandwich, and we both really enjoyed it. We decided to have dinner at the steak house, since we’ve been to most restaurants in downtown. I think in comparison to the really amazing food scene in Paso, the steakhouse was a bit underwhelming. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay. And plan to come back again!!
