Modern, stylish renovated hotel, but bizarrely lacking in a few things. For example, my room had a lovely giant two-sink bathroom with a beautiful bathtub and large standalone shower. However, there was but one single hook to hang one towel on, and no towel bar; incomprehensible that someone could design the bathroom that way. Also, there was no toilet brush. The windows didn’t open and it was a nice springtime temperature outside and would’ve been lovely to get some fresh air. The light switches are fine, but not very convenient as there’s only a single control for many of the switches at a place where you can’t even see what they are operating. The guy running the front desk did not know when the kitchen closed and was generally unhelpful and not particularly friendly though not unfriendly. No kettle/coffee maker or way to make tea/coffee in the room— even the cheapest places have this nowadays. No glasses or ceramic cups, just paper cups. No one made up my room despite not having any sign up telling service not to come in. Nevertheless, all in all it is a nice looking hotel, with spacious, functional, modern rooms, aside from the points mentioned above. Which just makes the gaps all the more surprising.

This hotel is in a decent location near Pasadena center and is in a historical building…. that is about it for the positives. It has a pool, but there are no towels, no attendance and no service. It has paid parking, but there is no one to take your luggage or to park your car. In fact, there is no service at all in this hotel. to get to your room, you have to unload your own car drag suitcases around the garage and heat them up steps. Not something you really wanna do when you’re in your 70s. And paying a reasonable amount for a hotel||Everything that we asked for was never delivered. I have a feeling this hotel was bought by new owners and they fired all the staff. To say this was under staffed would indicate that there was actually any staff. Other than a check in person there’s not a single person to be seen. No cleaning bellhop no parking no pool attendant no cleaning- absolutely the dregs. ||If you want this type of experience stay at a youth hostel.

This hotel is amazing! The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are really nice, especially the showers. The central location meant we could walk pretty much everywhere and didn't need to use our car so much.

And a massive plus for us is that this hotel takes pets. Seeing all the *well-behaved dogs* in the beautiful lobby and on the floors was great and encouraged us for when we visit with ours.

I had a great stay at Pasadena Hotel and Pool! (: All the staff were friendly - the front desk gets pretty busy but they were helpful and friendly all the time! Even the housekeeping staff we’d pass by in the hallway would always say hello!

We had a few hiccups with opening our room upon arrival and exiting the parking lot on the last day, but both issues were resolved incredibly fast with the front desk staff going above and beyond each time. Again, they seem to get swamped pretty fast, but as long as you’re patient enough to wait until they’re able to help you, they’re very helpful (: There’s also a great breakfast place you can walk to from the lobby, super yummy!

The location is convenient as well!! Overall, would definitely come back again! (:

I have stayed here multiple times now and each time is different. In general, the staff are nice and rooms are clean. The room I stayed in this most recent visit was on the second floor (so nice because you can take the stairs up) and was easy to get to. I stayed four nights and it took me a bit to get the temperature in the room comfortable, particularly at night. I could have used an extra blanket. Anyways, biggest issue came when I was leaving the property and dropped my prescription reading glasses. I didn't realize this until I was at the airport (and needed to read something). I called the hotel to ask if I had somehow dropped them there, but the phone just rang and rang. Finally, someone answered and immediately put me on hold - not letting me get a word in edgewise. ||I waited on hold for 20 minutes and then hung up. And called back. Same story. After a few times like this, they just started hanging up on me directly without even putting me on hold. I only wanted to ask if they'd seen my glasses and to ask them to please email me a receipt (which they had neglected to do). After exactly twelve tries to contact them via phone (and two via email), I managed to interrupt someone who picked up the phone before they could put me on hold by begging them not to. The phone call took a whole 60 seconds. There was no need to continually ignore me. They took my info and said they would get back to me about my glasses by the end of the day. Two days later - I call them again (and again get thrown on hold). Second try and I actually got through. Turns out they had my glasses at the front desk. (Cheers. Yes.) Why did it take so much effort to get through? After talking with Dennis at the front desk, I emailed them a prepaid USPS flat-rate postage label for them to ship back my glasses. At this time I can merely hope they actually follow through and send them to me. This experience has certainly soured my opinion of what was otherwise a very nice stay. I do recommend the hotel in general with one piece of advice - Don't leave anything behind!

Historic 1920s building which was recently remodeled. Appreciate the easy parking structure connected to the hotel, it felt very safe and secure, although it did come at a cost at $20+ per day which can add up. Deposit was at $50/night, so just be prepared for that. Lobby was very elegant and a looked like a nice place to socialise. Rooms were clean (huge plus), but the walls were thin so you could hear others and the street out front, but it isn’t too bad. Overall, pleasant for the price and will come again!

We used Pasadena Hotel and Pool for our wedding block and were very pleased with our choice!

The downstairs area around the bar is spacious and decorated beautifully. We met a ton of our guests down by the bar one evening and everyone loved it!

The service was also very quick - we noticed we didn't have an iron in our room and we simply called and they brought one right up. We also had a clogged sink one morning and they came and addressed it quickly!

Not to mention, the location is great. Plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and even a shopping center within walking distance. We highly recommend this hotel!
