At 52 years on this marble this was hands down the BEST ribs I’ve had in my life. And the potato salad? A level I didn’t know existed. The way they chop the potatoes into small pieces to ensure flavor seeps into every bite - MAGNIFICENT.

I’m telling you - don’t miss an opportunity to try this place. I am stuffed from eating the most amazing bbq a couple hours ago and fixated on when I can get back to order more.

Food was 10 out of 10! not to mention the owner Mr. Sutton is very nice and hospitable. I ordered a half of rack of ribs, Cole slaw and baked beans. The ribs were tender and not dry, the coleslaw was well seasoned and fresh and the baked beans were some of the best I've had at a bbq place. I would have taken pics but I was too hungry lol. It's definitely worth going back!

My first time ordering from Papa’s Chicken and Ribs. I purchased the chicken & ribs combo with two sides. Ribs were cooked to perfection and sauce was not too spicy. This place is located less than 2 miles from my home which makes it very convenient. I will be back to try the Jalapeño Mac and Cheese and turkey combo.

I just tried Papas Chicken and Ribs for the first time at the Harpers Ferry Highland Games, and let me tell you, it was delicious! I had the chicken and rib combo. The food truck didn't have the coleslaw at this festival, so I had the potato salad and the mac and cheese as my 2 sides, included. Both were really good. The portions are generous and a great value at $16 a combo. The woman running the truck was very nice. I couldn't have asked for better service, and she seemed surprised and grateful for the tip since I paid in cash with exact change.

I was door-dashing with my boyfriend when we picked up an order from here, the food smelled so good that we decided that’s where we wanted to eat for dinner. Best decision ever. The food was juicy, tender and tasty. Full of flavor. The people running it were also super friendly. Thank you guys for the awesome food we will definitely be coming back.

Haven't had the chance to eat here despite wanting to, but I certainly won't be doing it now.

I'm a delivery driver working with DoorDash full time in Berkeley County and beyond, servicing restaurants and their customers from Winchester VA to Berkeley Springs WV to Cherry Run MD. I've been doing this for years and in this time had the opportunity to get to know many of the people in the local food service industry, some of whom now recognize me by name when I walk in their doors.

I have never been treated with as much suspicion and hostility as I was just earlier today by an employee of this establishment. Before I even get the opportunity to check in at the pick up window I'm being yelled at and waved off by someone inside, told to get back in my car and wait. The gentleman spoke to me as if accusing me of malfeasance, "I don't know how you did that, the order was just placed." I followed his instructions and waited in my car until he called me back over. In that time, I received a second offer from the store, and because it was on my route, I accepted it. When the gentleman behind the counter called me over again, I asked for confirmation of which order he was handing me, as I now had two I needed to keep track of.

The response I got was more suspicion and a demand for me to identify myself, as he insinuated I was somehow attempting to defraud him and his customers by accepting orders as I'm offered them. He went so far as to demand my ID, claiming I didn't "look like" the name he saw on the screen (which might've been racially motivated with me being Hispanic, but I choose not to believe this). When I obliged and pulled out my driver's license and offered it to him, he suddenly calmed down but didn't take it, instead just handing me the other order and insisting he'd be "calling them up" to verify I was who I said I was. Who he meant I can't fathom, but as I'm not here to cause problems that could cost me my job, I didn't press the matter. I took my assigned orders, organized them in my car, and left.

Their food smells heavenly, and I genuinely want to try it, but with the way I was treated today, I can't recommend this store on quality of service alone. This hurts me to say, because I love local businesses, especially family owned restaurants and eateries. They're the lifeblood of any community, and without them small towns and cities like ours are doomed to stagnation. I hope in the future, the people who run this establishment treat delivery drivers with more respect and courtesy, if only because we're also people trying to make a living by providing a legitimate service to their customers in facilitating the sale of their food.

Found them when I was doing DoorDash! Decided to stop back and check them out because it smelled so delicious! SO GLAD I DID! The food is absolutely amazing! The ladies were so friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back! 😁

I simply love papas … I always get the rib combo w/mac and cheese and baked beans … The people are very kind/sweet and in this world we are currently living in I’m happy I’m able to support people who are so caring.. do urself a favor and check them out.. TREAT YOURSELF!!!!!!!
