From when we walked in the door the service was so friendly and kind. We chose this place because they were dog friendly but we loved it because it was cute and casual. Different than your usual cookie cutter style. The rooms are themed and so colourful and playful. We had everything we needed and more. Our own patio with fruit trees overhanging the courtyard. You’re looking for the same old thing don’t come here. If you’re looking for something unusual, this is the place. It has been a hotel for 100 years and it is full of charm and character.

Horrible. Critters in the walls by headboard and in closet, couldn’t sleep. Considered leaving in the middle of the night but didn’t know where to go. No manager on site, Complained next morning and was told no refund. No breakfast as advertised. “Renovation” going on but place was strewn with junk. Had planned to stay 4 nights, left after first one. I had stayed here several times under old management and it was thoroughly delightful. So sad to have lost a gem. This place should not be open.

It was an enchanting place with super friendly folks. Historic charm, quiet neighborhood very unique place with a great soul. I even had a sweet little patio. Parking is not convenient but the value and cuteness made that ok. Hope to come back to Maria's Pueblo room soon.

I stayed here this month for a HS reunion. The room was quite nice with a balcony bathroom and kitchenette. Well appointed with amenities clean and attractive. I loved the location as it was a block away from a childhood home of mine on the same street. The night was quiet and my rest was peaceful.

I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction regarding my unresolved booking issue. Despite several attempts to seek a resolution, I am still waiting for my refund, which was promised by the hotel. Below is a summary of the events:
1. Upon arrival at the hotel, I discovered that the property was closed and under construction, with no reception available. A notice was displayed indicating that the hotel was not operational.
2. I documented this situation with photographs, clearly showing the hotel was inaccessible.
3. I contacted the hotel directly, and they assured me that I would receive a refund. Additionally, I have an audio recording of our conversation, where it was explicitly stated that they would contact Booking.com to arrange the refund.
4. Despite this promise, no refund has been issued to me to date.
5. I escalated the matter to Booking.com, yet no action was taken to resolve the issue.
6. I also initiated a chargeback process with my credit card company, but the matter remains unresolved.

This experience has caused significant inconvenience and frustration. I expected better communication and accountability from both the hotel and Booking.com.

I kindly request the following:
• Immediate action to process my refund.
• A clear explanation of why this matter has been delayed for so long.

Please find attached the following supporting documents:
• Photographs of the hotel upon my arrival.
• A copy of my booking confirmation.
• Proof of communication with the hotel and Booking.com.

I trust you will treat this matter with urgency and ensure that I receive my refund promptly. If no resolution is provided within 14 days, I will have no choice but to escalate this matter further through legal or consumer protection channels.

I look forward to your prompt response.

Kind regards, isra

One of the worst places I’ve stayed in. The pictures are an outright fabrication, the beds are uncomfortable, there is no restaurant and no 24 hour front desk. It’s basically a hostel that charges hotel prices. Pass and go elsewhere

This was my third or fourth stay here. It is always a fun place and I like the downtown location.

Every room is completely unique and I've enjoyed each one. My room this time had a chandelier in the bathroom! It has always been very quiet and I always sleep great when staying.

What a massive disappointment. I arrived 6:30PM on Friday, May 3, 2024 - no one at the front desk. Just a key in a lockbox. I walked in, and the place was trashed. I checked the room, it's not the one I booked online. Next morning, I bring all this up to the guy at the front desk. He shrugs it off defensively, "Renovation." he says. Repeatedly. The website said nothing about a renovation. As for the wrong room, he said, it was already booked. How could that be when I booked it online? ||The answer? ||"Renovation!" - He really said that.||And what about the website's complimentary breakfast? Nope! And yet, I'm being charged full price. I asked for the manager, was told manager manager Manny wasn't there. He may be in Monday. Or the following Friday. He's not there much, he said. Left a message for Manny to call, haven't heard from him. It's like I booked a room in Hooterville. Though I bet Arnold Ziffel's got better management skills.
