We hired Tom and team for our wedding, and it was an excellent experience! The food was delicious, our guests still comment on how much they enjoyed it. Everyone had more than enough to eat and it allowed options for even picky eaters. It’s also so fun and festive to watch the food being prepared! Tom was wonderful to work with leading up to our event as well. They were able to accommodate serving the meal family style and made things so easy for our guests with dietary constraints. We had Paella del Reyes cater our wedding dinner and it was perfect. Planning and communication was easy and quick, Thomas is great to work with. And most importantly, the food was delicious (and affordable). They accommodated allergies, vegans and vegs with a second smaller and somehow equally delicious paella. I've used Paella del Reyes personally for 3 parties; my rehearsal dinner, my 50th birthday and a family reunion. I could not recommend them more highly. The atmosphere created when Tom and team fire up their massive paella pans is only outshined by the excellence of the food itself. From the caramelized socarrat, to the savory saffron flavor running through the rice and chicken, to the freshly caught seafood and locally sourced veggies, Paella del Reyes is among the best I’ve ever had.

More than just the food, Paella del Reyes creates a wonderful atmosphere for any large group. They light the fire and the show begins. I should mention the charcuterie plates here: top notch meats and cheeses perfect for pairing with wine, beer, cocktails or most appropriate, sangria. I’ve found most party goers end up surrounding the fire as the crew builds flavor. It’s starts simply enough with chicken searing on the hot surface. Then saffron tinted stock hits the pan and envelopes the toasted rice. Grab another sangria and settle in to watch the rest of ingredients drop. I keep an eye out for the area that gets the most Spanish sausage. Then a flurry of seafood: mussels, prawns and whatever was caught off the Sonoma coast that day. Olives and artichokes. Peppers, asparagus, beans or whatever is growing in Sonoma that month. When you see the peas and lemons drop… grab your plate and get to the front of the line. And make sure you get some of the aioli.

To the previous reviewer who opined based only website pictures and not having actually tasted it… I have had paella throughout Valencia and Paella del Reyes equals any of them. Shame on you for your post.

I have hired Paella Del Reyes for 4 consecutive years to cater my employee Holiday Party and I plan on hiring him again this year! Every year I like to switch it up and he works with me to tailor the Paella to my desire. In 2017, I added lobster tails to the seafood paella... we are all still craving more because it was to amazing. Perfect option for medium to large parties for sure! I personally think that offering the same food experience to guest helps bring people closer. But if you have special food allergies he has options for that as well!!

I recently attended a party that Tom & his staff were cooking for and the Paella was amazing! It was fun to watch Tom cook the Paella over the open fire as the party was going on, it made for a really different and unique catering experience. I am now considering hiring them to cater my 40th birthday later this year because it was a lot of fun and the food was really delicious, especially the special sauce! Oh, and the service was top notch. Highly recommend!

not a paella. As a Spanish citizen, I was appalled when I saw your paella in man fire food. Then I visited your website, and pictures look terrible. What you cool isnt paella, it is rice with stuff. You clearly havent been to Valencia area...or if have been then you got it all wrong.
