A joke would be an understatement. Oh, Joel, you are as helpful of a salesperson as a bucket of sand in the middle of the desert. Very contradicting; even a broken clock gets it right twice a day.
My wife and I went to check it out with the arrival of our little princess. We are looking at enjoyable vacations for years to come. Anyway, after the boring presentation, I suggested we compare apples to apples by going online and comparing the cost of booking through them or other sites. After guaranteeing they would be cheaper, it turns out it was cheaper directly with the others. Who would’ve thought? He did not like that. So Joel ended up throwing us out, literally. And started telling us quote, “I have been doing this for years, this is how I bought my house, and this is not for you,” as we walked out.
You see, my fellow reviewers, as a customer, you do not have the right to ask any questions without a hostile response or ask any questions, for that matter at Pacific Travel Club.
I I recommend checking out the BBB rating of the membership Arrivia they are trying to sell us. So many complaints.

Here is the rundown: A travel agency like all others that eludes you into thinking the price is cheaper by having you pay upfront $3900, $275 “Administration fee”, and drumroll please, a $79 annual fee that can go up any time.

My recommendation is this: Run.

My husband and I were invited to participate in a presentation to be part of their Travel Club and unfortunately it did not go as expected.
Beth is really nice, and the presentation was made by Joel trying to sell Arrivia. He was very energetic during the presentation. After the presentation, my husband wanted to ask some questions so we could understand if being part of the membership would be worth it for us. So we wanted to book a flight through their software and compare with regular internet website. Joel seemed to be very frustrated when his software showed the tickets more expensive. Then he tried to explain that it would be more efficient if we were to book hotels and other stuff. My husband started asking him questions to a point where Joel said: “this is not for you then” and shook hands with my husband meaning to us: “that’s it for you guys. Time to leave.” Both of us felt very uncomfortable and he continued saying: “I’ve been working for this company for many years, this is how I bought my house.” I said “good for you, but you don’t seem to be willing to listen to us” as we were walking out of the room. Long story short, Joel was very rude, was not letting my husband speak, and was very impatient. I would not recommend being part of this club where people makes us feel uncomfortable from day zero like he did.

Well they are out of business now. I was stupid and signed up for their services. Now they're gone and I still owe money to their lender. Plus, their "discounts" on everything was bogus, every reservation I made, I was able to find better prices elsewhere. So I stopped using it. Yet here I am, paying and paying and paying.

No-one to blame but myself really.
