I’m submitting this review on behalf of my parents who went on a crab and rock cod fishing trip today. They book this charter under the confirmation that the charter would be going to the Farallons after the crab pods were dropped. Apparently the fishing regulations changed so charters that are crabbing and fishing can only fish along the shoreline. This is not the captains fault. However, there was no attempt to notify customers of this changed in advance, and they only announced the changes after the boat left the dock; many anglers specially choose a charter based on if they are going to the Farallons (an area known for great fishing). This information seemed to be purposefully withheld so that they wouldn’t lose money, a dishonest way to do business.
The fish haul was poor for the whole boat and was a waste of money.
I would not recommend this charter based on this experience.

A friend and I took our 12-year old daughters salmon fishing on the Pacific Pearl and had a great time. The captain and crew are very professional and super helpful for first time anglers. They made the trip. Highly recommend.
