The customer service here was amazing! I got the Asian Rice Bowl!! Whatever they put in it taste amazing! Great meal if you want something light, fresh, and healthy.

The ambiance is cute! There's limited indoor and outdoor seating, but if you can get a table have a seat! The staff works hard behind the counter to make it all to order!

I would agree with others when saying the wait for your food can feel a little long, but it IS worth it! So grab a coffee and enjoy your time here.

** Be mindful on the day you come, Oxalis shares its space with another restaurant. This tends to confuse people as the menu's are NOT the same. However if you stumble in on the wrong day the other restaurant is great as well!

Woke up in the mood to not make breakfast. Found this little gem down the street from my house and decided to give it a try. A bit of a line when I showed up but plenty of seating.
The selection of local art and flyers on the wall was pleasant to browse while waiting to order.
Food was phenomenal! I’m going to dream about the Mushroom Tartine tonight I’m sure. Latte was delicious - the real maple syrup was a nice touch.
I think I’m falling in love…

Darice saved the day by making a BEAUTIFUL gluten-free wedding cake for our family home wedding on very short notice after the dog ate the first one. Super tasty, yummy filling, top-notch frosting and piping. Can’t say thank you enough!!

Great morning experience! Such an unexpected cutie and the owner obviously cares about organic and healthful ingredients. Best egg sammie I’ve ever had. She uses organic oats in her granola, which I haven’t been able to find at other cafes. 🦋🐝. Healthful to-go options in the fridge case.

Needless to say, we arrived with high expectations based on other reviews and left quite disappointed based on our own experience. We (two couples) arrived around 1pm on Friday at this small cafe which was busy and all tables taken but after a few minutes, the noon crowd left leaving us to occupy one of their small tables sized for just 2 people. The atmosphere was terrible because it was cold outside and every time someone opened the front door, the door would stay open about 2 inches allowing a rush of cold air to make it quite cold inside, so during our brief 45 min stay, I was up and down to close the door at least two dozen times.

Food was served 20 mins after our arrival. The food was okay but certainly not exceptionally good nor tasty. My egg sandwich was dry and not very tasty on semi-toasted bread. The avocado toast had too much garlic and the bread was burnt. Squash soup was okay but not exceptional. Espresso and cappuccino hot drinks were okay but nothing special.

Overall, given the poor environment, less than average quality overpriced food, I would not recommend stopping by. We certainly won't be returning.

Sunday brunch sandwich was so yummy..couldn't have made it better at home!!! A jewel in poulsbo. Friendly staff that go out of their way and local ingredients on home made bread. It's a collective so visit in the weekends. Drip coffee was fresh and topped the yummy sandwich! Will become a regular!

I love visiting this cafe at every opportunity for trusty espresso drinks, asian bowls, and baked goods. There’s lots of windows creating a joyful atmosphere. There is also a grab and go refrigerator unit so bring your insulated bag to purchase bulk frozen soups. Items sell out fast so visit soon after they open. Lastly, check out the pantry items for unique vendor products.

I did not realize this place existed until today. What an amazing find! Oat milk chai tea was tasty and not too sweet. Banana oat berry muffin was the perfect size and tasted so fresh. I also had a half order of their beet salad which had the perfect measurements for sweet, savory and crunch in each bite.
I grabbed some dressing, breakfast Goodies and apple cider vinegar to try out at home. I highly suggest this place. Excellent customer service. My next visit I will eat in as their place is super cute.
