Hands down this was one of my favorite hotel experiences ever. As a retired innkeeper, I am quick to see anything that falls short in lodging. But this place exceeded my expectations at every turn. The front desk was fully staffed with friendly, knowledgeable employees. Fresh cookies were a nice touch. The huge lobby windows were spotless, overlooking the adjacent golf course. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated and deeply cleaned. Every guest need was anticipated. The breakfast buffet was uncharacteristically fresh and maintained. Fresh fruit was being cut while we watched. And the buffet offered more cold items than hot (so no rubber eggs!) A staff member was actually testing the food temperature at each station and recording it, as required. There were brand new machines in the guest laundry that take credit cards, so no rolls of quarters needed. There was a culture of excellence and teamwork everywhere. I highly recommend this place.

I wish we could have stayed longer! My daughter and I were traveling alone and felt safe and comfortable at this hotel. It is beautifully decorated and feels much nicer than the price point. We were so surprised to find the beautiful landscaping at the back of the property which made for great pictures. The bathroom design was perfect for multiple people to get ready. The breakfast was well stocked and had a great yogurt/oatmeal bar.

We absolutely loved our room and the hotel. We travel quite a bit so generally have middling expectations for hotels. From the minute we arrived, we were impressed. First, the location is great for Port Angeles. It was easy to find, being on the main road. The landscaping and privacy of the back patios made it feel a world away. The Visitor Center for the Olympic National Park is maybe 10 minutes away, as are several of the hikes and scenery we wanted to experience; and the downtown area/wharf was also maybe 10 minutes away. The bed was very comfortable and the room smelled fresh and clean. Our king room with private patio was perfect for us. While the weather was still chilly, just opening the drape to see the fountains and plants and well-landscaped (but still private) golf course made it feel special. It was also thoughtful to have landscaping in-between the patios so screened from neighbors. Breakfast was very good, an expanded continental assortment, included in the room and a good value. The lobby, with its comfy furniture and wood-burning fireplace, is lovely. Our only regret is that we forgot to eat some of the home-made cookies that smelled wonderful!

This hotel was a perfect find in Port Angeles! We stayed on two separate occasions in the course of a week; a king patio and the Olympic suite! Both were incredible clean and romantic. Both are large and have plenty of room to move around. Lots of towels and shampoo, conditioner, etc. There is ample parking that is well lit. The front desk gave us maps of the local area and a list of places to eat! There is a pool and hot tub on site, and views of the golf course from the back and the ocean (from the 3rd floor in the front). We felt it was well worth the cost. The buffet was very bountiful, including fruit, yogurt, bagels, cereal, waffles, drinks, etc. It was complimentary and worth it! Our only recommendation is to add extra blankets in the rooms if needed. Will definitely stay again!

I recently stayed at this hotel, and it was a great experience. The location is perfect, especially for those looking to explore Olympic National Park. It’s just a short drive to the coastline and nearby attractions, making it a convenient base for outdoor adventures.

The hotel also offers a complimentary breakfast, which was a nice perk to start the day. The staff really stood out—everyone was incredibly friendly and approachable, making you feel like you were part of the family. Their warm hospitality added a personal touch to the stay, and I truly felt at home.

Overall, this hotel offers a comfortable and welcoming environment in a prime location near the park. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

The Olympic Lodge was a great base for our activities in the Olympics. We were traveling for the week and had just a few nights in Port Angeles. This hotel was the best option for our family traveling with our dog. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The beds and bedding are super comfy. Our favorite part is the lobby area with its large fireplace and views of the beautiful golf course. Since we were traveling with grandparents it was a great space where we could gather and even spend one evening playing board games. Special shout out to Will, one of the front desk staff who kept the fire going in the evening for us and went above and beyond to make us comfortable our last night there.

This is one of those reviews I hesitate to write - this is a special place that I would like to keep secret so it's available when I want to revisit. BUT in fairness - the stay was perfect at a great value. Continental breakfast was 'free' - expected juice, coffee, dry pastry. Nope: they offered cooked oatmeal, eggs, waffles, dry cereal, fresh fruit and more. Rooms were clean and spacious. Staff was standout helpful. Management (Owen) was accessible and approachable. Things are different here than one encounters these days at large chain. I will definitely revisit on a future visit to Port Angeles. Thank you

beautiful!!! came in last minute w no reservation and Raymond got us situated and was so cool and helpful. pool and hot tub are open year round and very clean. the hotel is absolutely charming. we sat and read in front of the fire in the lobby and it was perfectly cute. continental breakfast is yummy! good selection considering it isn’t a full service kitchen. it was an employees birthday and her coworkers had gotten her lots of gifts and showered her in love, very sweet to see. all in all delightful stay, and the people who work here put it over the top!
