Great lunch with my dad today. Had to be sure to get him to try the fried feta. Service was fantastic, and so was the food.

The pic of the steak was from the visit a few weeks ago from the dinner menu. Poor picture, but Brussel sprouts were very good!

The atmosphere here is absolutely amazing. The servers were so attentive and quick with our orders. We sat outside on the patio with our dog and the heat lamps made it perfect.

My only criticism is the food was a little bland. It was still worth the visit. I might be able to find something with a little more flavor if I had the opportunity to go back.

I would go just for the drinks and atmosphere alone. Very cool vibe.

We got the hummus & whipped feta.
Hummus was good, overly salty though. We like Best of Cretes better.
Whipped feta was unique, salty which is expected, the highlight of the night.

Filet medallions ordered medium, came out medium rare to rare.
Olive tree sirloin ordered medium, came out well done. No red wine reduction flavor to be found on steak or vegetables.

Whipped mashed potatoes remind me of chain restaurants mashed potatoes, resembles instant mashed potatoes.

I think we will stick to appetizers/salads here and go for lunch.
Waitress wasn’t attentive, empty drink glasses for 15 minutes, not a good experience.

We didn’t care for the lights being dimmed, but that’s the owner’s choice.

10/10! If you are in the area, make sure you stop and give this place a try. The hummus was amazing. All the food was delicious and taste homemade and healthy. I have zero complaints. Me my humans my 2 kids all loved the food. Chefs kiss.

Good dining experience, great service, and decent atmosphere. We ate there before 4, so we couldn’t get the great sounding after 4 items. We will return in the near future at dinner time, we really want to try some of the stuff we couldn’t get earlier in the day.

Stuffed grape leaves - extremely tasty, really enjoyed them.

Pierogies - very good, we both liked them. Make sure you dip them in the seasoning that falls off in the dish they come in, makes them even better.

Olive Tree Shwarma - mediocre, meat doesn’t resemble shwarma and is rather flavorless in comparison to real shwarma (I’ve had them in Amman, Jordan for a reference point as to what is great). The other components of the shwarma were good.

The Legit Reuben - decent, far from the best we’ve had (Oak Barrel in Little Orleans, MD). Bread was terrific, extremely great amount of meat, sauerkraut was bland and nearly flavorless, and russian dressing was runny and not very flavorful. Bread on bottom of sandwich was a soggy mess.

Pasta salad - loved it. Simple, but refreshing and tasty.

Cucumber and tomato salad - lacking flavor, best guess is we got it one day after best used by to be enjoyable. It all had the same meh taste, it all just tasted the same. Onion and cucumber, no difference in the salad.

Baklava - love that they make it in house, but we weren’t fans.

Dellightful discovery passing through Charleston, WV. Just had a light meal, but the Tomato Bisque was excellent and generous size. The baba ghanoush with fresh vegetables and pita bread was a nice snack. Only improvement I could suggest is a open oven for the breads so they are warm to the table.

My husband and I went for dinner at this place and we waited, and waited for someone to acknowledge us while standing by the entrance to be seated (as the sign instructed us to do), but no one ever came to seat us or even say a word to us! We ended up leaving and going elsewhere for dinner!! That’s the first and last time we’ll ever go to that establishment for anything, and that includes visiting their restrooms lol 😆! I had to leave a star ⭐️ for each of the rating’s listed above, or I wouldn’t have been able to leave this review. We stopped by there about a year or more before I decided to leave this review and after reading other reviews, I noticed that the owner only responds to the 4 and 5 star ⭐️ reviews and that’s a shame, because ALL REVIEWS should be included!! I’m surprised they don’t delete the reviews that aren’t agreeable with the owners! Gee, this sounds familiar, just sayin’!!

We had a reservation for 11 people for our first time here and I'll definitely go back! Our waitress was Bailey and she was great! The atmosphere, service, and definitely the food was all 5 stars! The owner even came over and talked with us! We will definitely go back!
