My second stay at the Berry Vine Cottage was just as comfortable and pleasant as the first one. My husband and I will be back again. We’ve enjoyed our little home away from home whether it was cold and rainy outside or sunny and pleasant. Every detail needed for sleeping, eating, and relaxing was thoughtfully provided.

We actually last went in late December 2020, but we've visited every year or two for the last 25 years. Why? The beautiful accommodations and area are very quiet and Kelly, the owner, could not be nicer. ||We've stayed at each of the 3 cottages and 2 parts of the farmhouse over the years, and each is very comfortable and has a different vibe. The suites in the farmhouse take the first floors of the farmhouse and you never hear your neighbors. The 3 cottages all have full (though small) stocked kitchens. We have never slept better. The drive itself is breathtaking. It's not far from the wine country, the lighthouse and the many hiking trails from Point Reyes||This is not a hotel or B & B. You're on your own - go to the grocery store or bakery in town for supplies. There are no TVs. Bring DVDs or stream your own entertainment or read a book. Please honor the no early check in policy. Kelly cleans and supplies all of the cottages herself. She and her spouse do all of the upkeep. Kelly is always available by phone or text.||This is our favorite place to go to on a road trip and to relax. Highly recommended.

This place is simply perfect. The cottages are creative, fun, detailed, refreshing, comfortable (the bed was amazing in Farmers Parlor, not to mention a great shower). You can sit on the front porch or back porch and read, nap, work, chat. Such a lovely place with the colors, the fresh flowers, the dishes, the art, and someone's very tasteful eye for all things cottage make this so fun. The surrounding area is beautiful and peaceful with short drives to many beaches, overlooks, activities (horseback riding, kayaking, hiking, biking, eating, napping, animal observing, etc.). We absolutely loved it and had a restful and comfortable 3 nights. Our only bit of advice is to make sure you don't wait too late in the evening to get dinner or groceries or you'll be out of luck!

I really love the Point Reyes area and have saw this lovely place before. Very happy that I finally got to stay there during the Thanksgiving week this year. We stayed in the Farmer's Parlor.

Things I loved about the stay are:
- The place itself is very clean, has enough amenities like utensils, wood burning fire place, a sun room
- The bed is very comfortable. Even fancy hotels sometimes do not have a good bed. I really appreciate this
- The garden/ yard of the entire place is very lovely, well maintained
- The view is great, you see horses, grass field and mountains
- The location is pretty good, very close to hiking spots, Point Reyes Station, and there are some restaurants in Olema itself (like Due West)

Things I did not like were:
- Farmer's Parlor faces north. It is very cold in the morning even when outside is already warm. If I knew this, I would not have rented this place
- It is part of the main house, like Nest, which does not seem to be as private as the Cottages (Kelly said it is the most private one, I am not sure, I also have not stayed in any other cottages on the property)
- It is basically a studio. The sun room is not well insulated, so very cold. Also it just has a table and 2 chairs, you cannot really sit comfortably there either. We did not use it much. We mostly were sitting in the king-sized bed when we are inside

Having said all of the above, I would definitely stay with them again next time, but probably a cottage with a bedroom and living area.

We only spent one night in the Sunflower cottage but really enjoyed our stay. It’s the thoughtful touches that make this place special: fresh flowers on the kitchen table, Peet’s coffee, a clothes hook next to the bed for your robe, an ottoman in the bedroom for your suitcase, a top sheet if wanted in addition to the European duvet. Everything is very well thought out to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. |The king size bed was super comfortable with lovely linens. Loved the cheerful original art throughout. The cottage is flooded with light from all sides with views of the horses grazing, beautiful trees and hills, and a lovely private courtyard. A quiet location yet central to all the sights. |Thank you Kelly for a lovely stay. We will be back.

My daughter and I stayed 2 nights in The Nest cottage and loved it. It's very clean, cute, and has so many thoughtful amenities. The queen bed was very comfortable and my daughter said the twin floor mattress (I requested ahead of time since we sleep better in separate beds) was comfortable, too. ||||Kelly was very quick to respond to my emails and I appreciated her allowing us to arrive late in the night. We enjoyed looking at the art pieces around the grounds, too. It's in a very quiet area and so close to the Bear Valley Visitor Center. ||||We highly recommend this wonderful place!

The rooms and cottages are clean, comfortable, and cozy. They are stocked with the amenities you need to explore the area and the location is excellent. We try and go every year to walk the trails at Point Reyes National Seashore and the rooms or cottages are perfect for us. We’ve been several times just as a couple and once with some other members of our family staying in an adjacent cottage. We miss the chickens in the yard.

Very quaint and eclectic, with an immediate homey vibe. A little home away from home, which was very nice as a base of operations to go to the other sites and trails in the area.
Only thing to be aware of is that it is not very ADA friendly.
