Had an excellent experience here all the way around. Food, service and the atmosphere were top tier. The selection of food and drinks is exceptional and so is the quality of everything they do. Definitely recommend everyone checking it out. You won’t regret it!

The Old Red Mill Taphouse checked the box for country-inspired comfort food in a charming setting with service to match. Tried the pan seared trout and the brisket, both of which were excellent, with the sliced brisket being smokey and fork tender. To our delight, the sides were just as good as the entrees, with the grits being some of the most rich and delicious I've ever tried. Kudos to the restaurant for sourcing some ingredients locally. Overall, we were impressed with the value, the quality, and the service, even on a Saturday night . The only qualm was that the two cocktails we ordered, although being well considered, were way too sugary for our liking. I can't wait to return. There are about five other entrees on the menu I have to try! I feel like this place could emerge as a trusty standby.

This place was recommended by another passer through at the local cider place. They weren’t wrong. The fried chicken was true south and the pot roast was the best! Would recommend this for anyone looking for great food on a good budget.

The best brisket hamburger I’ve eaten. My family loved everything they ordered. The menu is fabulous. Everything from fried chicken to rainbow trout. Now my best place to eat. You have to try it, you won’t be disappointed.

Food is amazing! Yes, was a bit of a wait. (But well worth it) However, this isn't a fast food place. Can tell some of the servers are new, but that's not an issue bc everyone has to start somewhere. Highly recommend!

Our experience was one of the worst restaurant experiences we have ever had. They had just opened and while they were relatively busy, the food took over 2 hours to come out and then one of our guests never received his food before we left. Our waitress would disappear into the kitchen and was seldom around to offer to fill drinks or keep us updated on the status of our meal. When we left after paying our bill no one apologized for the poor service . The menus is way too large for the start up phase- I hope they work out the kinks- we will certainly give them a few months before trying again.

The food and service was great. We had a larger group and everything went so smoothly. Our waitress Sabina gave us excellent service. Will definitely be back when we are in the area.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Couldn’t tell you about the food or drinks. We were seated and then waited as tables that came in after us had their drink and meal orders taken. We were never even acknowledged other than the hostess seating us. There were several staff members looking confused and or just standing around talking to each others. We got up and left.
