I had the pleasure of staying in a beautiful four-bedroom single family home in the Old Greenwood Resort. Tahoe Mountain Lodging does an incredible job providing a high level lodging experience. The house sat on the edge of Old Greenwood Golf Course, it was quiet and surrounded by nature. The kitchen provided all the necessities of home, allowing you to enjoy your time away from home without leaving any of the comfort behind. Each bedroom as complete with its own full bathroom, that was stocked with plush towels and toiletries. There was a comfortable family room and adjacent dining area. The house offered a strong wifi signal too. The clubhouse has the best set up for families. There were numerous pools accommodating both children and adults. There was also a playground and restaurant. ||I would recommend Old Greenwood to anyone looking for a great place to spend time with loved ones. The town homes and houses can accommodate small families to larger multi-family groups, it is close to the town of Truckee but offers an array of activities in the neighborhood.

We had a beautiful rustic home for the week. My son is in a wheel chair and they added a ramp in the garage for access for him. The LR, and all BR's had flat screen TV's with a wide range of available stations. A full sized pool table was upstairs, an office was also upstairs which contained a murphy bed if extra space was needed. The kitchen had good appliances, but had to buy a few extra cooking tools, and a hand mixer. A very nice hot tub was on back deck overlooking the golf coarse. The front porch had rocking chairs, very nice in the evening. The area was so quiet, and peaceful. They were doing pool renovations when we were there, but it is going to be beautiful. Everything there was very clean, and comfortable. Mantainance was wonderful, locked my safe, and was unable to open it. within 10 min. someone was there to fix it. Hope to stay 2 wks. next time.

We stayed a week in the two bedroom "cabins" which are duplex units near the clubhouse. This is an upscale resort with a great fitness center and pool. The kitchen was well enough equipped to comfortably cook many of our meals in, and we enjoyed being closer to Truckee, on a large level property where we could take leisurely walks, the forest is not as dense, and it is quieter and less crowded than on the shore of Tahoe, where we've stayed in the past. Service was very attentive: we reported a sticky substance on our balcony. Someone was there within an hour with a pressure washer, and daily to clean our outdoor gas barbecue every time we used it.||Certainly would consider staying here again and recommend.

Most people that I know think of the Tahoe area as a ski destination, but I was there in the Fall for business. The rooms were great with amazing views. Staff were professional and courteous. The area has many great golf courses and restaurants and Old Greenwood is not far from quite a few of them.

Very much enjoyed this excellent Nicklaus layout despite the "wait on every shot" pace of play. Fairways are OK and the greens acceptable despite their obvious exposure to lots of tourist play.||||The snack shack at the Clubhouse is more than adequate for an after golf beer and simple entrée. ||||The staff from the Bag Drop guy to the Pro Shop gentleman, course Marshall, starter and food service personnel were universally friendly and helpful. There is obviously a strong leader in charge of that part of the operation.

We stayed for 2 nights in a villa during the off season between snow and warm weather activities. The resort was understandably snoozy but we enjoyed. Our villa was spacious and beautifully furnished it’s right off 80 so very convenient for seeing the area. Very nice. Recommended
