We stayed here for a work outing and used lodging rooms and event space. It was cool to feel remote, though you weren't too far away from outside amenities. The rooms were okay, a little dated, but functional. The event space met all of our needs, and having the light show to go to in the evening was a fun addition. If you're looking for a little place to get away, I would recommend it as the scenery and the outdoor amenities during the summertime could keep you busy for a week's vacation.

Nice resort, lots of activities and things to do, beautiful vistas, nice restaurants. Rooms are nicely and reasonably appointed. Free EV charging is good. Very nice place for meetings and conferences

The room wasnt ready and my parents had to sit in the lobby for over 30 min. after driving over 2 hours to get there. The pool was ice cold. the heater broke, and won't get the part in tor over a week.. we never got to enjoy it and booked it bc of the pool all for birthday and Christmas, so very much disappointed.

Starting with the room it was good but not great the pillows were not comfortable, there was dust in the corners and mirror in the bathroom. The service was good but not accrete in there listing of what music would be playing. I had called prior to our stay about this one band that my husband and I were interested in seeing but it was not them. I told the front desk and of course they apologized. They also said that they would mention it to their entertainment personal.

I love Olgebay but I won’t be staying there again. I stayed 2 nights with the second night being disrupted around 2:30am when I got up to see a bug under my pillow. I have been bitten over 14 times from my face to my toes. Chiggers? Bed bugs? I have swelling an itching like crazy. They were sorry but not surprised. I went there for a 2 day rest ,it was anything but that.

Ridiculously overpriced drinks. No need for that. Had they been a reasonable price or even a dollar over reasonable I would have probably had three to four but because they were overpriced I had one because that's just not cool.

Great location for weddings and other events. There were 3 different weddings there when we visited. Beautiful scenery. Most of the rooms have been remodeled but still some work to do. Wish they would've given the option of us getting one of the remodeled rooms since part of our group of 20 got some and others didn't.
