Captain Will made sure our family had the perfect morning out on the water. We went out with our 4 and 7 year old daughters and was beyond comfortable for everyone. Exceeded all expectations as we saw a whale up close and more dolphins than we could count. The private boat gave us the ability to get really close. Will be going out with Captain Will again next time we are in Dana Point.

My dad is 80 years old and visiting from Michigan, he loves fishing and he wanted to share this love with his grandchildren. I booked a 1/2 day fishing trip with Will and is was a fantastic trip! We didn’t catch a lot, but Will kept putting us on top of the fish. We got to see sea lions up close and saw hundreds of dolphins swimming all around which was incredible! Will and his deck hand Dylan were so helpful fixing lines, baiting hooks and instructing us on the best techniques! They flirted the fish so we could take them home and cook them up. I am hoping to take my dad again in August/September to catch some yellowtail! Highly recommend Captain Will!

If you’re visiting Laguna, booking a tour is a must! My friends and I did a 2-hour tour with Captain Will and saw tons of dolphins, a whale and some adorable sea lions! It was an amazing, unforgettable experience and Captain Will is super knowledgeable and friendly. Would recommend to anyone who loves a day on the water / sightseeing. 🙂

This was a great afternoon. Even though I was the only person who reserved a trip for the 4:00 block, Captain Will agreed to take me out on his awesome zodiac boat, Wish You Were Here. It was windy, cold, and choppy, and we didn’t see a damn thing but the beautiful ocean; but the boat was safe and comfortable, and Captain Will was a knowledgeable and friendly guide. Would 100% recommend—but do yourself a favor a go out earlier in the day to increase your chances of spotting dolphins and whales. Thanks for a great trip, Captain Will…Hope to see you again out there on the avenue.

We completed today a tour on a boat with Captain William. It was a great experience! We did it last year with him and it was such a memorable trip that we wanted to repeat it again. And we were not disappointed! We saw several groups of dolphins and even saw a grey whale though it is very rare to find him now. Captain William is knowledgeable and friendly and he takes great care of his clients. It was a chilly day today and he gave us blankets to keep us warm. Also his restaurant recommendations were great. Thank you Captain William!!!!

This was my second time out with Will and it’s always the best time! He is a knowledgeable and thoughtful captain with a deep understanding of the area, plus he’s the coolest and friendliest guy. Skip the big boats of tourists and have Will take you out for an amazing experience! Saw a gray whale today and tons of common dolphins - complete magic.

I don't really know where to start, this was such an amazing experience for my wife and I. She especially loves seeing dolphins so close. It seems like we saw hundreds. They were swimming all around in front of the boat and jumping and putting on a show for us. We got to see a gray whale up close and for a long time. It was truly an inspiring experience. William's boat was very comfortable. The inflatable gunwales allowed you to lean on them as opposed to having a rigid aluminum or fiberglass structure trying to get up close to the dolphins. My wife was so happy she cried 🙂 William is amazing Captain is very accommodating. Another great thing about William is that he is the owner and entrepreneur. There were some other tour boats but they were packed full of people and the boats did not look as comfortable as his. I was really impressed that William and the other captains helped each other out. William was telling everyone on the radio where to find the whale, and they were telling him where the dolphins were currently at. We will have to come back another time and bring our kids. 10 out of 10 would absolutely recommend!
