We stayed in the Wakefield House across the street from the Odell House in the Library Apartment during this past Thanksgiving while visiting my son. The whole area where we stayed, The Browne's Addition, of Spokane is full of old mansions from the glory days of Spokane. Very historical. Our unit had a kitchen, dining room (which we had our Thanksgiving dinner), family room, bedroom and bathroom. The whole experience was pretty cool. As others mentioned this was an old mansion. We never saw the owners, but were in constant communication with them. All in all we plan to go back again! was a great experience.

My husband surprised me with a getaway to the Odell House B&B in Spokane. It was lovely! Really eclecticly furnished room, very comfortable and relaxing. There were fresh eggs left in the fridge and coffee, so we cooked ourselves breakfast and enjoyed it on the wraparound covered porch.||It's in a lovely neighbourhood, with some really funky restaurants within walking distance.||We'd definitely go again.

My husband and I stayed in Unit C for four nights. We had a wonderful time! The unit had a full size kitchen which was perfect because I was able to cook some of our meals to save us some money on dining out. The queen size bed was more comfortable than my bed at home! The sheets, comforter, and pillows were super soft and fluffy! Dale was a very gracious host. She is one of the nicest, down to earth, people I have ever met! We had fresh eggs from the chicken coop in the mornings as well as fresh vegetables and herbs from the garden. Dale gave us some tips on some great places to eat that were within walking distance. (I recommend the Elk House! Yum!) The house and the area were very quiet and the grounds are just beautiful! A very short distance to downtown. Another bonus is the gorgeous museum that is literally across the street. We will definitely be visiting the Odell House again! Absolutely Awesome! I highly recommend The Odell House to anyone staying in the Spokane area!

I had the good fortune of finding The Odell House when I came to stay for a week in Spokane. My recently-acquired dog allergy meant I couldn't stay at my dog-loving family's home, but The Odell House was ready to meet my need with a unit fully suited to those with pet allergies. They keep several units pet-free while welcoming pets in other units. ||That was just the beginning of the wonderful amenities and nice touches found there. While breakfast is not served in the morning, each unit has a very well-equipped kitchen, a refrigerator stocked with juice, fresh eggs, pancake mix, and the fixings, fresh coffee beans and teas aplenty. A box of chocolates delighted me!||The bath was generously stocked with towels and lovely soaps. A claw foot tub with hand-held shower gave the best of both worlds.||Every time I needed something, I looked around and it was there! Lights at just the right spots, window-blinds positioned for easy access, a full-length mirror, notes stationed answering the very question that just went through my mind. It was a very nice feeling, much thought went into making the unit meet their guests' every need.||The Odell House is very comfortable with unique furnishings and interesting pieces of art. It sits right across from the Museum of Arts and Culture (MAC). I spent several afternoons on their large communal front porch enjoying the rocking chairs and the beautiful surroundings.||I so enjoyed my stay, I think you will too.

Sometimes you just want to get away and the Odell House never, ever disappoints. Sincere hospitality from sincerely hospitable folks. Dale's creative efforts make the place feel like home and I always leave with new ideas for what is possible to do in the yard! Skip the big box hotels and enjoy a relaxing stay in Browne's Addition. It is close to everything Spokane has to offer but feels like the best parts of home.

Located in Browne's Addition neighborhood, one of many repurposed mansions, within walking distance of downtown. All rooms different, with short and longer-term rentals. Our room was furnished art deco. Clean kitchen. Our hostess has chickens and vegetable garden and left bowls of fresh eggs and veggies on the porch. Wraparound porch and beautiful landscaping very relaxing. It was kind of magical, with quail and raccoons running around and some beautiful architecture, a walking path, a nice park, and some restaurants nearby. I would absolutely stay there again.

The Odell House is a great place to stay while in Spokane. Affordable and close to shopping and good food within walking distance. The rooms are charming and spotless and Brown’s Addition is a picturesque area with beautiful homes. The MAC Museum is just across the street. I would recommend Odell House to anyone.

Nice quiet location in a very nice neighborhood with other great old homes. We were in a huge room downstairs with plenty of space for two queen beds and an antique store's worth of assorted furniture. And a great porch to sit out on. Friendly welcome. There is no breakfast, but that's fine with us because we usually like to be up and off early
