Kathy is an excellent host and the accommodations were superb. The spot is true Alaskan paradise: view across the bay beyond stellar, bluff-edge patio with outdoor furniture for soaking in the views and any Alaska sun, stairs down to a relatively private pebble/sand beach with invigorating beach walks and beach combing, and views back up towards the property with eagles and seabirds soaring along the bluff. The cabin is rustic but very cozy with quaint and comforting decor, and all the little details to make it a nice stay have clearly been thought through. Breakfast was wonderful both days and Kathy really is a superb host - we don't stay at bed and breakfasts (this was a last-minute decision related to limited local options over a holiday weekend) and it was more than we could have hoped for - renews our love for Alaska. We loved staying at Ocean Bluff and will be back! We stayed in the cabin to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and it was so beautiful-fell asleep to the sound of the waves every night. The cabin has beautiful views and so cozy. Kathy and her dog Willow are wonderful hosts with delicious breakfast each morning and made us feel right at home. Ocean Bluff is a beautiful, quiet place to stay and great location to get to all the activities of the Kenai Peninsula!

My husband and I stayed in the rustic but extremely clean and comfortable cabin with a spectacular view! The property is so beautiful, perched upon a bluff with a modern deck and stairway to access to access the beach. We came at the beginning of the netting season and saw the buoys and the the harvest in the evening. The owner and hostess was so charming and explained so much about the location, plus made fantastic, authentic, Alaskan breakfasts! We highly recommend this B&B and will return.

Kathy is wonderful and very accommodating. Her breakfasts are to die for. Cabin and rooms are clean and cozy. Fire pit is great for s’mores and Kathy’s famous churros rolled in butter and cinnamon sugar. The cliff top views of the ocean and the sunset over the mountains in the distance are amazing. A great place to rest and relax. Great fishing and many activities nearby. See eagles and moose all around. We will be back again and again. Go see Kathy. Tell her Fisher sent you!

My wife and I stayed in 11 places during our 19 day Alaska trip. This was our 5th Louisiana to Alaska trip and it was the best. We visited a number of places which we had already visited as well a number of places which we had not previously visited. After the trip we separately chose our favorite place. We both selected the Cabin on the Bluff at Ocean Bluff. While it was the best, quite a few of the other places we stayed were really good. The thing which made this place stand out above the crowd was our hostess, Kathy. Her place is awesome. The view was unbelievable. The cabin great. She made it feel like our home.

We stayed in the cabin in September - what a view! Though we're from Alaska, we had never stayed in Kasilof but found it very quiet and well placed to access both ocean (Homer) and river fishing (Kenai/ Kasilof Rivers). Eagles, moose and birds passing through the yard, Kathy's wonderful food and recipes - rejuvenating!

This was a wonderful place for our family of 10 to stay. Kathy provided delicious breakfasts, coffee and good comfortable beds! We had such a great time here, flying out to see bears, catch salmon and going to Homer. We have stayed here one other time and returned because of the scenery and beauty of this place.
