Just had one of the best Reuben sandwiches I’ve ever had. Great portions and well balanced bite. Never been here before and quite literally will stop here for every drive up to Tahoe going forward.

Staff was amazing and made incredible cookies in house, thank you all for the awesome lunch!

MUST VISIT. I cannot express how delicious these deli sandwiches are. I’m writing this at SFO airport while eating one of them I took to go and they’re just heavenly. Visited Auburn for the weekend and I could not stop visiting this place. 2 visits Friday, for dinner and for a to-go sandwich for a hike the next day. Another visit today for a lunch sandwich and a sandwich I’ll eat tomorrow in Boston (yes, they’re that good).

Not only is the food great, but the people are even better. Amber and Aaron would greet us with a smile every single time we came by. They’re so kind, fun to talk to, and put a lot of love into what they do. I came on a busy weekend with thousands of people in this small town. They were so busy, yet the quality of these sandwiches were impeccable. Oh man, I’m going to miss them.

If you ever get a chance to make a quick pit stop in Auburn, I highly highly highlyyyy recommend stopping by. I’ll come back without a doubt! Thanks Amber and Aaron!!

I assumed a couple running this place are the owners. Excellent vibe and customer service and even the food is fantastic. Simple sandwich shop but you can tell the ingredients are high-end and the people preparing the food care. My wife and I really enjoyed our Tri Tip Philly + turkey sandwich. We will be back soon.

Stopped by after a long hike nearby. I had the chicken salad sandwich, easily the best one I've had. The avocado and greens really added to it and the bacon was perfectly crisp. The potato salad was also great, I liked the pickle flavor. The pricing felt fair. As for the atmosphere, I wish there wasn't a "blue lives" flag on display as it crashed with the otherwise awesome cafe feel. That being said, Ill definitely be back for another chicken sandwich.

North Fork has good food and great customer service. I value being greeted with a smile and today Nov 25th around 1:30 I received a warm welcome right as I walked in. Despite me taking a while to decide... both of your guys remained attentive and with good energy. The smoothie man was hilarious and totally made my week. I love supporting businesses that value human interaction because it makes me feel like my food was made with care. Thank you North Fork!

I came in on a Sunday afternoon and was greeted with a smile and a hello. There were a few other people ahead of me. The wait wasn’t so bad! There is a lovely art gallery next door to pass the 10 or so minute wait. Definitely worth the wait!
I ordered the Auburn Cheesesteak on a sweet roll, 16 oz power juice and a bag of chips.
The sandwich was delicious! The meat was fresh and juicy and the cheese was melted to gooey perfection.
The power juice was so good. It had the perfect amount of ginger for a spicy kick! $10 for 16 ounce is an amazing deal too.
Overall, awesome place for lunch. Fresh and open atmosphere. 10/10 will be back!!

SHORT VERSION:
Oh, my, this was good. Need a sandwich? Try this place!

LONG VERSION:
My intent coming in had been to order a Club sandwich, but before I could, the young man behind the counter suggested the tri-tip French Dip they had on special. And just then two of them came out for an earlier customer and I was sold.

I got the sweet French roll and passed on the garlic aioli. As Miss Vickie and I have had an intense relationship going for years, I was happy to meet her on their chip rack and share the sandwich experience with her. Sodas are in the can, which is not my favorite way to drink it, but pricing is reasonable and the selection is wide (my Diet Dr Pepper is a mundane choice - they have many varieties and flavors of sodas, juices, and the like).

The sandwich was just about perfect. The tri tip was sliced to a proper thickness and cooked tender with absolutely none of the stringiness that tends to happen in these sandwiches. The au jus wasn't the watery restaurant variety, but a creamy, almost soup-like sauce which dipped well, coated the sandwich bites well, and was savory enough I considered using a spoon to slurp up what was left after I'd finished.

The staff was friendly - not just with me but with every customer who came in or called. And it was busy while I was here! They were outgoing, talkative, and seemed to be enjoying their work. Great job!

In a day when a convenience store sandwich will cost you seven bucks or more, $16 for a neat perfect trip tip French dip of decent size is a good deal.

My only complaint was atmospheric - the fluorescent bulb above the counter seating I chose was flickering like a strobe light, which was far more annoying than I thought it would be. Odds are it'll be fixed before I come back though.

I loved it! Eat here!
