Food is fine and the service was good. But forget about this “service fee” nonsense. Everything in my life has become more expensive over time, but only now my final bill needs an additional 2.5% fee after I pay taxes and the prices they put on the menu? Why not 2.5% on gas, groceries or car prices? Seems like a political message or a way for them to just get more money. I’m sure they didn’t raise the wages of every employee by 2.5%. Just raise the prices so I know up front what I’m paying, if you need to. The chicken sandwich would be 40¢ more.

Came in before a long day of traveling to enjoy a nice meal and watch part of the football game, and was not disappointed. The inside has televisions all around, so no need to fight to get a chair that can view the TV. Waitress was super sweet and helpful, and our food came out extremely fast and cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend and will be coming back

Service is great, food is delicious, and they have a nice covered outdoor patio. I had the black and blue burger with a salad that was delicious. We also had the turkey dip which has great flavor, though the horseradish was a little strong. The fries are perfection and I'd get a whole basket next time! Perfectly fried and seasoned.

Stopped here Friday night for dinner. The food was great, ordered a burger and the beef was an inch thick, perfectly cooked. The staff was attentive and friendly. Good atmosphere with a bar in the back and plenty of seating up front. Place was clean inside and out. Only recommend they replace lights in sign so easier to see, but we will be back. Highly recommended!

Excellent food and service! The chicken club and champagne vinaigrette chicken salad were delicious. Service was also very fast and friendly. The patio is dog friendly and lots of shade for dogs.

Great service, food was good and drinks were good. We came here for a mid day lunch and a few cocktails and were very happy with the service, attentiveness and food. We had a black and blue burger and a steak salad. Both cooked well and would order both of them again. Drinks were good and the bartender was friendly, attentive and quick. Would highly recommend if in the area or want to check out a new local spot.

Went into this establishment for the first time on Saturday afternoon. Had always wanted to give them a try. I love good bar food and a nice ale (or beer) 🍺. I went in, not to many tables taken. Which was great, easy to social distance from others. Since Covid-19 is still raging and people still getting sick. I happy showed my vaccine card to dine in. But as people were coming in I took notice the bartender/waitress was not asking anybody to see their cards. A bit unsettling to say the least. Since it is a smaller establishment. (Limited tables and perhaps only about 40 dinners if full). Glad I went on at lunch time and not happy hour. I ordered there Grilled Chicken on toasted sourdough, it had lettuce, tomatoes, bacon and havarti cheese. It was a good thick sandwich. Bacon was cooked just right as well as the chicken. (It was very good,)😛 and plenty to eat with my choice of fries. They also have tater tots or sweet potato fries.
Found out by asking some questions, about the restaurant, found out that a new owner purchased this place about 4 years ago. With that purchase should have been a bit of a make over, chairs a bit old and outdated. And walls could use a coat of paint. I suppose like most restaurants and the whole Covid pandemic, has not helped having extra income to do any redecorating.🛠🛢 Small, and causal local hole in the wall for locals, with good food, is good enough for 4 ⭐s with this visit.

Pre-pandemic, this was one of the best taverns in the Greater Seattle Area. Now, it’s almost unrecognizable.

Before 2020, I always got the BLT with salmon. It was my favorite thing on their menu and it was always consistent and delicious. I went back for the first time after COVID in mid-2022. Compared to the original sandwich, it was vastly different: salmon was cold, had a completely different seasoning, and was extremely dry and overcooked. I thought it was just a fluke until I ordered another one a few weeks afterwards. Unfortunately, it was still the exact same outcome as the last one.

I went back to try it one last time since it’s been a couple years, and nothing has changed at all. I ordered the salmon on the side just in case this time and it was still completely dried out and bland.

It’s really a shame. I don’t know what’s happened with this place. The staff are still friendly and accommodating, hence the 2 stars, but I’m sad this isn’t the same place I once knew and loved.
