Noseeum remains one of the best fly out Alaskan fishing lodges around. Caleb and Melissa run the lodge expertly and sincerely care about every aspect of the guests experience. Food is great. No See Um Lodge is just all around best-in-class. The accommodations, the scenery, the people, and most of all the fishing all craft an experience that you will never forget. The Alaskan landscape is absolutely stunning, the guides and fishing are world-class, and there's no better way to experience it than a trip to No See Um Lodge. It's truly the trip of a lifetime, and I cannot begin to thank everyone enough who made this trip so incredibly special for me and my father!

Our group just returned from another incredible week in SW Alaska at the No See Um Lodge. From the moment we arrived, we were treated more like old friend's then just another group of 7 day client's. The fishing guides are true professionals that know the local rivers well ....how, when and where to fish some of the most pristine waters in the world. Carefully planning each day of the week the guide team's goal is to maximize each guest's fishing experience. Beginner or expert this team will make your day's on the river lifetime memories. The lodge team is the best in the business. Preparing gourmet dinners with 5 star service, cleaning and preparing each room daily and providing an easy, welcoming environment.|The weather can be an issue in SW Alaska so come prepared for the worst and hope for the best... (the first rule for packing is "warm and dry") If you find yourself underprepared for the elements there is a well stocked store with gear that can make your stay more comfortable. Another important box to check is safety. Over the 24 years that I have been going to the No See Um I have never experienced a time when fishing results trumped safety...in the air or on the water. |There is a reason that most of the people you meet at this lodge are repeat guest's. For me personally, I return because I know exactly what to expect and it is exactly what I want.|Kevin T|

2023 was the fourth time I visited No See Um Lodge since 2012. All of them were good. Real good. This time though was better than all the others because I brought my most precious of cargos with me ...my family.... to include my wife, kids, and grand kids. John Holman and I had been talking about putting this trip together for years while we waited for my youngest grand child to get old enough to handle the rigors of a trip like this. Its not for small children but at 7 1/2 years old our youngest participant, Logan 'tater tot" Brown was finallly primed and ready. The entire experience was over the top. Could not have been better. The lodge was clean and well kept. The lodge staff was kind and very helpful. They do a wonderful job. The pilots, the planes, the guides, the food, the gear, the lodge, the facilities, the fishing, the bear watching....everything!.... and I mean everything!... was a joy to behold and it was the experience of a lifetime for our family. No one will ever forget their trip to Alaska! Thank you John and thanks to your team. At my age I may not be able to pass this way again and I am so glad we finally pulled it off. Nothing can take the place of memories with your family and friends. Thanks to all the friends we made at No See Up Lodge and thanks be to God for the wonder of his creation. God truly blessed Alaska!!

No See Um Lodge offers a fantastic fly-out fly fishing experience! The lodge itself is beautiful and it sits on the shore on the Kvichak River. Each day (weather permitting) you fly to a river in search of huge rainbow trout, salmon (multiple varieties) and/or char. You spend the day on the river enjoying a shore lunch when taking a break from the action. All the pilots at the lodge are excellent and very safety-conscious. The guides too are excellent and do their best to help you catch and land some amazing fish. The chef prepares delicious meals; all staff are friendly and helpful; and the open bar has only top-notch liquors. We consider No See Um Lodge to be the best fly-fishing lodge we have enjoyed!! We've been guests at the lodge 10+ years and it's always a terrific experience. Do yourself a favor and enjoy this wonderful place!

I took my 13 year old granddaughter and myself to No-see-um lodge in 2021. It was a great great trip.||So good we returned in 2022 and are going back in 2023. Outstanding lodge and staff. Wonderful fly fishing. My granddaughter learned to fly cast and caught many species. Last year she said she wanted to live there. 5, excellent service, cuisine, guiding and installations. World Class fishing, beautiful and impecable Beavers: three for the Lodge. Four guests and two guides go out to fish per plane and the plane remains dedicated to the group to move as needed.
