Highly recommend! We took all three of our dance teams here for the State competition and it was a great experience! We booked over 20 rooms and everyone agreed we will stay here again next year! Rooms were very spacious and clean. The entire staff was awesome!
Special shout out to Ceara and Cody for being so accommodating and there for everything we needed!

We had a mixed experience with the My Place. I’ve listed the pro’s and con’s below. But with the number of hotels in Yakima, we won’t choose to stay here again. ||Pro’s|- The employees. The front desk workers were friendly, helpful and just all together great people. Always had a smile and always ready to help. |-The cleaning staff. The gals that we bumped into cleaning the rooms were so, so sweet and so hard working. And let’s just say they definitely had their work cut out for them in some of the rooms. But they had a great attitude and were very helpful if we ever needed extra towels or anything. |-Each room has a fridge, two burner stovetop and sink/cupboard area. |-The location is close to the Sundome (we were in town for the state basketball tournament). ||Con’s|-They provide government subsidized housing to the unhoused. Some of the people in the hotel and parking lot area were questionable at best. This did prompt some concern on our end for the safety of our teens and our vehicle. |-The people staying in some of the rooms “live” there for weeks at a time and leave behind absolute filth, garbage and smells. We happened to catch a glance of our room while we were waiting to check in. It was disgusting. The poor girl cleaning was hauling out bags upon bags of garbage, there was food and garbage all of the floor, counter and bedding and the room smelled like vomit. She did an amazing job but we definitely had to air the room out very well and felt yucky about it in general. |-There are no plates, silverware, pots n pans, etc. for the kitchen area. ||As I said, this isn’t a place we would stay again in spite of the wonderful staff. For the price ($220/night) I had higher expectations especially since two of the hotels down the street that we had friends staying in were so much nicer and they paid less than we did.

Well, I have a couple of experiences for and against this place.
-Good price, good location.
-The refrigerator making too much noise.
Comfortable beds, But, we shouldn't have been so confident in the cleanliness of the place, because, the next morning we saw small insects around us, some of them walked on my daughter's face and others bit my husband, there were cobwebs everywhere. They shouldn't let so much time pass before renting any of their rooms. I took pictures of the insects and the bites they left on my husband's arms. That's unforgivable .

While the staff (front desk and cleaning) were amazing. So nice, friendly, helpful and hardworking. That did not make up for the large portion of unhoused people living there. Our room prior to cleaning, was covered in garbage, food and smelled like vomit. It was noisy at night and we did have some concern for the safety of our teens and vehicle. Yes there was a fridge and kitchen area, however there were no plates, silverware, cookware, etc. For the price we paid, it should have been much better. We will choose a different hotel next time we are in Yakima for state basketball.

This place is amazing, the staff are super friendly and very helpful. It's super clean and quiet. The beds are really comfortable, everything was up to almost perfect standards. I love the fact they have 24 hour coffee and tea! Plus they are pet friendly which is awesome!

I had initially booked this hotel because of the amazing value represented in the pricing. The pricing is set up for such affordability I didn't expect it to be a hotel with mind blowing quality and service too but it has been a dream come true. I booked a stay at this hotel because of having been displaced by an incident at my apartment that is in the final stages of insurance claim settlement. I came here with many injuries needing a place I could feel safe and rest and heal. From the moment I walked in the door Ceara was so kind and so welcoming and I felt so cared about as a person for the first time in so long I almost cried. She went above and beyond to help me collect the payment amount necessary for the check in on my reservation from one of the parties who is liable for damages as a result of my claim and who was someone I was very hesitant to want to talk to. But with Ceara's help I was able to get the correct amount paid to be able to check in and having stayed here has with no exaggeration quite literally saved my life. And I owe a huge debt of gratitude to Ceara. Not only so but Bianca who takes great responsibility for making sure the accounts are in order and that hotel procedures are followed correctly has been extremely wonderful as well. I admire the confident and authoritative approach Bianca demonstrates in her work. Although I choose to clean my own room because I take so much personal enjoyment in doing my own cleaning it's a joy to walk through the hallways when the cleaning workers are here cleaning other rooms. They always appear cheerful and they work very skillfully. This hotel maintains a very high level of cleanliness and security. It's the hotel with the most feelings of safety in Yakima or Union Gap. Although there are so many things about this place to love the thing that sets it apart most of all is the people who work here. Every single staff member I've encountered meets top standards for excellence in their character and person and I have felt so blessed by them all. I could not possibly recommend this place more highly. A million stars out of five!!

Out of all the hotels in the area this one does the best job of offering the same warm welcome to locals as well as travelers. That alone would be enough to make me love this place with all my heart. However, the staff here are something else entirely. Every single staff member is on a level of excellence beyond what one might ever expect. The place is superbly clean and the quality is out of this world, especially for the pricing being set at an extremely kind level of affordability. It offers so much value that this hotel is most certainly the best in the area for any type of stay. Could not recommend more highly!!

Room wasn't the cleanest by any means. Fire alarm went off right before 3 and we all had to evacuate and sit outside. Fire department didn't show up until about 20 minutes AFTER people were allowed back in. Walls are paper thin and we could hear EVERYTHING our neighbors were doing for the remainder of the night/morning.....and I mean EVERYTHING 😑
