It was a banquet meal and everything was so nice & freshly prepared. The servers were very courteous and attentive. I would highly recommend Muriel‘s to anybody for conference luncheon, etc. but also for other fine dining😍 special occasions, or even lunch, takeout, etc. you don’t wanna miss out on this fantastic food. Out of respect for this luncheon being for after a funeral I did not take pictures inside, but it was very nicely arranged. I did however take pictures of the food taken home since all the guests were able to also take what was left home. It was amazing luncheon/food😍

Atmosphere- 5 stars- probably the most popular restaurant in Fairmont WV. Been here since the 60s. Super clean and very roomy. Tons of seating and separate room for large groups. Full bar available. Great overall atmosphere!!

Service- 5 stars- Servers are very attentive. We had three different servers taking care of us. Our main waiter was very friendly and helpful. Our drinks were constantly refilled.

Food- 5 stars- I had the Lasagna which was excellent- probably one of the best I have ever tasted. Dinners come with a basket of bread and a side salad. Salad are awesome!! Topped with mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, sweet cherry peppers, tomatoes and large green olives.

Super impressed with the way this pasta marinara turned out. Perfect temperature, texture , and taste. Someone was also so kind to take the time to make it pretty as well. Tasted better than it looked. Kid friendly staff as well as great kid options.

If you are looking for excellent Italian food with a great atmosphere and friendly staff in the heart of West Virginia look no further. I don't live there but visit friends and we often take in a meal at Muriale's when in town. You won't be disappointed. PS: Great desserts too.

All the way from Texas and got to enjoy this hidden gem. The food was absolutely amazing and the desert was on point and prepared so beautifully. Brea our server was so friendly and was attentive to everything we needed and every detail. A local friend was sure to tell us Muriale's was a special treat we couldn't miss, and she was right. Hats off to Brea, the cooks ( especially the one on deserts tonight ). I'll be back next time I'm in WV for sure
