I ordered the lunch special. Cheeseburger and fresh cut fries. My son ordered the meatloaf, mash potatoes n gravy, and carrots. Our food overall wasn't bad. My fries were a little overcooked (see pic) but still edible. Our waitress was awesome and very attentive! I probably would eat here again.

Wonderful place to stop for lunch. Service is always attentive, food great and prices reasonable. For the price of burger King or McDonald's lunch, you can have a sit down meal in a rustic atmosphere reminiscent of Williamsburg . Great food, great service.

A very neat experience and a hidden gem. The restaurant has daily specials. We came on a Wednesday and had their fried chicken which was excellent. That night they also had karaoke so the atmosphere was very lively. The next day they also had local banjo group play.

A must for anyone visiting this part of the country. Even worth a detour. This historic hotel/restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere, interesting memorabilia and a friendly staff!

We got the crab nachos - usually I’m not a fan of shellfish and this sounded like an odd combo but it was great!

We got the grilled pork chop and grilled chicken breast with sides of baked potatoes and side salads. The food came out relatively quickly - you had just enough time to finish one before the other came.

The food was fresh and delicious. Small things made a difference. The whipped butter they make in house was a game changer on the baked potato, the house made ranch was the cherry on the top of the salads.

We unfortunately did not have space for dessert - the portions are very generous. At approximately $15 per dish, you get great quality and quantity of food.

A must visit if you’re in the area; very impressed with their steak sandwiches (on menu Saturday). The crab cake was great too. Lovely ambience and the server Luke was very helpful and courteous.
