Hotel staff was kind, but the rooms are pretty dirty. Lots of dust on the walls and furniture with some odd substances on the door that was missed. The shower was fairly cold and the sink faucet was broken. They no longer serve breakfast and the cleaners showed up around an awkward 5pm. Great location and the grounds looked well kept. Decent stay marred by wierd.

Do not book here, the rooms are not clean and the service and support is terrible. I booked 2 nights and when I got to my room the bed sheets were dirty (bugs). The room smelled. I spent about 5 minutes in the room then asked to cancel, they said no refunds or cancellation. They kept my money and I went to a different hotel. Please read the other reviews, there are many stories smilier to mine.

It seems they have such a strict refund policy because they know the pictures on their website are not accurate. They'd prefer to get their money over having a good reputation.

I tried emailing them and 0 response. There are so many better options around the area. I feel scammed.

This is a lovely hotel in an ideal location. Our room was clean and cozy. Modern amenities like above counter square sink and wooden flooring. Just off of hwy 101 at the beginning of hwy 1. We went to Muir Woods and Stinson Beach one day and Saucilito the second.
Easy 2 minute drive to many restaurants and a Good Earth Market.
Rosie was out host and she couldn't have been nicer.

The lady charged me $130 per night - not the price on this google ad. There is no breakfast included - only coffee. The rooms are clean and big enough - but not large.

I couldn't get through to the front desk to ask the price - but I would recommend using the 3rd party call centers to book your reservation to get a better deal!

Had to stay here due to proximity to field work. First of all, the front lady did not check ID. My shower curtain was gross and had mold. I had to stay an extra day due to work and told the front desk about having me just stay in the same room but then later that night another guest had access to my room and had tried to open the door. I went to the front desk to let her know and she tried to blame me for not telling her. I told her I did let whoever was working the front desk and she proceeded to tell me she didn’t know and just threw me a new hotel card. Do better at communicating with your staff or be there yourself. Own up to your mistake and don’t be rude about it.

This is such a little gem of a motel in Mill Valley. We thought it was nicely updated, clean, the staff friendly, there's a walking path across the street. We wondered if it would be noisy being next to the road, but it gets quiet at night.

The room was large and clean. The front desk person was very nice and accommodating. Muir Woods lodge was a good value for the area.
