Loved the atmosphere! Our waitress was absolutely wonderful and so attentive today when we went for lunch!! My husband loved the coconut shrimp. I ordered the soup of the day, French onion, and a side salad. Unfortunately, the soup was not very good. It was very sweet and tasted like Worcestershire sauce!! I’ve made homemade French Onion soup and have never had it taste like steak sauce!! Oh well, next time I’ll order something else.

Easy Irish Pub with fantastic views in Cave Creek. Live music on weekends. Nice patio for viewing the sunset. Good prices on drinks. Good selection on tap. Friendly staff. Fun simple bar still a fun favorite 5 yrs later 2024 new menus n drinks - n staff.

Although the corned beef hash was excellent, the rest was substandard. I ordered eggs easy over with rye toast and got hard over eggs with sourdough. When I pointed it out to our waitress, she shrugged and said she put the order in as I requested…then just walked away!! We just looked at ourselves in amazement.

Honestly, this would be a fun place if they limited the seats. The tables were so close together that it was difficult to walk or even get to the bathroom. The music was good but started an hour late. We sat for over a half hour before a server asked us if we had been waited on. Once our order was taken we asked if we could have a pretzel while we were waiting for our meal. We were told our entire order would have to be redone, it needed to be ordered with our drinks. So, pretzel came with the meal. The food was ok and actually came quickly once ordered. The fish and chips were overdone and dry. Fish tacos were sweet due to milky coleslaw on them. Our server was very nice but frazzled. Maybe they were understaffed? We were celebrating a birthday but the atmosphere was so hectic that it wasn't the best experience. It was a Sunday afternoon. Possibly during the week it might be better? We would be willing to return and try a weekday. It really could be a fun place.

Awesome apps, the sliders were excellent and real roast beef. Perfect aus jus. My husband had a burger and also really enjoyed it! Our bartender was excellent, could answer any and all questions we had, and he provided excellent service. He was attentive without hovering, which can sometimes be tricky when sitting at a bar. We couldn't have had a better experience!

The pretzel was good. It came with 2 sauces, a cheese sauce and a sweeter sauce that was different but really good. I had the shephards pie. It came piping hot and was really good. My husband got the blarney burger without onions. He also got the house fries. All was good.

The Mountain View Pub is Not only a Topnotch place for Music..food..AND Service. The Owners are First Class..ABOVE Actually. Today they provided Pizzas to The Legion AND weeks before that they held an Anniversary Party For Their Employees..Acknowledged Thier Staff. I've never Experienced that. May Continued Fortune Shine on you both..as You..the MVP keep giving back!!

We came here before going to the rodeo. The bartender could barely be bothered to serve us, I ordered the salad with tomatoes, basil and mozzarella and a pretzel. The salad was good and the pretzel was okay. My husband had the quesadilla which was terrible. It was loud in there but they had an interesting animal TV show on. The bathroom was reasonably clean. If you’re just looking for a drink this place is fine but if you are having dinner go somewhere else.
