Last minute reservation and what a gem! Dan was very nice and communicative. The cowboy room was very clean and cozy, uniquely decorated and stocked with everything we needed. Our stay was lovely and so thankful for being pet friendly. We had a little yard to walk the dog, a quiet porch to relax on and an incredible view of the stars! Would definitely recommend this little oasis in Rodeo and hope to stay here again!

We parked an oversized load down the road. This gem is in the middle of nowhere and it's a great place. The owner is really nice and he let our dog stay with us in the cabin with the exception he couldn't sleep on the bed which is no big deal because he has his own bed. The little cabin was clean and the bed was very comfortable. If we're ever in the area again we will definitely stay here again.

My husband, dog and I had a wonderful, relaxing stay in the Cowboy room. The room was cozy, with lots of special touches (love all the lamps), nestled in a little oasis in the desert. The owner Dan was welcoming and very helpful. We look forward to a return visit.

Mountain Valley Lodge & RV Park was a great place to spend a couple of nights in our RV. My wife and I thought we'd spend a night there before exploring Cave Creek for birding. We ended up coming back for a second night. A couple of days earlier I had left a message inquiring about a stay there. Dan returned my call very quickly and was most helpful in planning our stay. He greeted us when we pulled in directed us to our spot. Even though it is close to Highway 80, it is very quiet at night and a beautiful location. The full hookups were especially nice since we will be boondocking for a few nights after our stay. If you are looking to stay in a cabin, they have those too! I recommend a stay with Mountain Valley Lodge and RV.

After seeing pictures of Mountain Valley Lodge, I came all the way down from Minnesota just to see it for myself, and I was not disappointed! I LOVE this place. I stayed in the awesome cowboy room. It was immaculate and beautifully decorated. It wasn’t just a room; it was a studio apartment and truly felt like a home. I wish I could have stayed for a month.||||If you need to relax and just chill, this is the place. It is only a few minutes away from the eastern side of the Chiricahua Mountains, which are beautiful. Just staying “home,” you can relax on your own patio table and chairs, or you can chill by the fish pond. It is SO peaceful here. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Rooms & RV space for rent here. We stayed in our RV with a full hookup at a very reasonable price. Lots of character with artifacts collected over the years adorn the facility. The lighting at night is a light show of color - we were impressed. The best part is the location - only 15 minutes away from superb bird watching in and near the Coronado National Forest. Also drove our tow vehicle over the dirt Pinery Canyon Road to the west side and returned. Vehicle length restricted to 41 feet. Road too rough for a motorhome but scenic - especially on the return east. Slow driving takes about two hours one way. No gas for sale in Rodeo, but Animas has 24 hour availability.
