My experience with Mountain State and Jason was "next to perfect." I needed to help my disabled son find a Four-Runner, but never anticipated that I would get so much support from Mountain State. Jason not only took the time to be sure that the vehicle was cleaned and ready to go, but he also clearly took extra personal time to show my 21-year-old son how the Four-Runner, tent, accessories, etc,. all worked. Nothing was rushed, and all of our questions were answered. Jason and Mountain State made this dad really happy. I would recommend Mountain State to any "adventure seekers" that are looking for a great experience and top-notch support. I am a tough critic, but the service Jason provided was next-to-none. Thank you Mountain State!!!

Great experience with my brother and our two sons. Jason and Eric and guides in training (James & Casper) went out of their way to make this a man epic adventure. Knowledgeable and safety focused, would highly recommend. Can’t wait to book a future trip. Also recommend the annual adventurefest. A trek from New England to WV, but well worth it.

My father and I just got back from the April 2022 guided trip. Spent 4 days and 3 nights exploring the mountains and backroads of west Virginia. We don't have our own rig so we rented the Seneca 4runner from Jason, through outdoorsy, would highly recommend. The rig and the trip, couldn't have been more perfect. The Seneca came with the rooftop tent (very comfortable, even for my 60 yr old father), 270° shade/rain canopy, refrigerator, storage box, and upgraded suspension and tires that allowed the 4runner to handle smoothly and effortlessly on the gravel roads. Since we flew in from Boston, we also added bedding, a kitchen stove, a cast iron skillet, and eating/cooking utensils. When we arrived to pick up the Seneca, it was recently cleaned spotless and Jason showed us how to use everything on the vehicle. The process was super simple and quick. At the end, all we had to do was give it a quick wash at the local car wash and fill it with gas.

Our guides (Jason and Eric), were friendly, helpful, and down to earth people. You could tell that they genuinely love their jobs and their only goal is to make sure you are having a good time and enjoying yourself on the trip. Their ability to navigate the local back roads and terrain was impressive, and their network of local connections allows them to access camping locations that you can't get to without them. It seemed like every campsite was better than the last, including secluded open fields, clean bathrooms, trout streams, and tremendous views of the blue ridge mountains.

I have already started to figure out when I can go on another trip next year. Would highly recommend.

Me and my wife Sheree just spent the weekend with MSO and the MSX19 team in West Virginia. It was amazing! Great People, Awesome Rigs and Crazy Fun Trail Riding through the Mountains. Jason and the MSO Team did a fantastic job with the logistics and technical planning for the trip. They made it easy for all of us to just focus on having fun...from refuel stops to potty breaks...route changes on the fly so we could get to the camp sites in time to cook dinner, chat around the campfire...relax and have a great time sharing and learning from each others experiences.
