Me and my fiancée had an amazing 2nd time here. Great hospitality , the room was clean and cozy . The spa had to be our favorite part , after a very stressful week , We definitely released all our stress there. We took a walk at night it was so quiet and peaceful beautiful views the air was perfect and refreshing ! Beautiful place we love it and we will be back soon 😍

My boyfriend and I came here to celebrate our anniversary. I have stayed in dozens of Airbnbs but this was the best by far. The property is absolutely gorgeous with tropical landscaping and panoramic views of redwoods. The spa was amazing. You get 90 minutes per night included with your stay. The spa has a hot tub, cold plunge, sauna, shower and bathroom. There is an amazing sound system, plenty of towels, robes, and sanitized slipper sandals. We stayed Friday and Saturday night. Friday, we had the whole property to ourselves. Saturday, we saw another couple or two. Since the property is adults only, the entire stay was very quiet and peaceful. Once we got done in the spa we took the path down to the private lake. There is no swimming, but we spent a long time out there watching the ducks and a deer.

We stayed in the "charming studio" which was the perfect size for a couple. The bed was comfortable. The room had remote controlled AC. There was a studio apartment sized fridge/freezer, a microwave and a toaster oven. Plenty of dishes. The bathroom was large for a studio and had shampoo/conditioner/body wash and again, plenty of towels.

The hosts, Oleg and Elada were extremely nice and welcoming. They live on the property near the cottages. Elada greeted us with a bottle of wine and tour of the property, including the entrance to a private hiking trail. Later on, Oleg told us some history about the property. He mentioned that due to the expense of maintaining such a large and beautiful property, they are considering converting the cottages into long-term rentals. I feel so lucky we were able to stay there before then. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a calm and relaxing getaway. Book sooner rather than later, since this place may not be available for short-term rentals for much longer!

- Google map directions were accurate
- No 4WD/high clearance car required
- I recommend doing the drive there in daylight, at least for the first time, due to the last few miles being narrow and winding.

Spa and cold plunge were great. Place is nestled away far enough into the mountain to feel quiet. The hosts were very flexible (pushed back check in 3 times and still greeted us in the late evening). Rooms were fresh and clean.

Such a gem and relaxing mountain experience! This property has 6(?) vacation rentals on one remote property, but there’s plenty of outdoor space to play & relax.

The wonderful host couple is available on the property if you need anything.

Note: this property is a 20-30 minute windy mountain drive to the nearest grocery & restaurants, so we mainly spent our weekend enjoying the view, hiking the trail & grilling dinner on the grill. Our host said Uber Eats delivers there, but we just had one classy/casual dinner in town (Los Gatos) and spent the rest of the time on the property.

Reading my book and catching up with my friend as hummingbirds came through their beautifully maintained garden was the perfect way to spend the weekend!

The spa experience was well above your typical hotel! The spa room has dark, romantic atmosphere & music you can adjust. They have a real COLD plunge, jacuzzi and sauna. On a weekend we had to make an appointment for our 1.5 hour spa slot, which was what we organized our weekend around.

Extremely peaceful and secluded property in the Santa Cruz mountains. Oleg is a genuine and kind host who really wants to make your stay relaxing and stress free. The spa experience is really cool - high quality sauna and plunge pool, along with a hot tub and other comforts, and it was super relaxing having the spa area totally to ourselves. Would definitely go back for a restorative weekend.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the beautiful Mountain Lodge Estate in Los Gatos, California and was thoroughly impressed with every aspect of this relaxing retreat. Ellada and Oleg are amazing hosts their estate is stunning, with a peaceful pond surrounded by lush greenery and towering trees. There is a private hiking trail that winds through the woods behind the property, down to a little creek, offering a scenic spot for a quiet walk among nature.

The newly remodeled Suite Retreat room where I stayed was an absolute delight. The cozy yet spacious suite was recently updated with contemporary furnishings and decor, making it a comfortable and modern oasis. The cloud-like bed provided a blissful night's sleep, and the in-room wood burning stove created a warm, inviting atmosphere.

The highlight of the estate is undoubtedly the luxurious spa facility. After a day of hiking the scenic trails, I indulged in the sauna, took a refreshing cold plunge, and soaking in the bubbling warmth of the hot tub. The first-class spa amenities helped melt my stress away.

From the manicured grounds to the comfortable accommodations and world-class spa, every detail at this Los Gatos estate has been meticulously designed to provide guests with a pampering escape. I cannot recommend this hidden gem highly enough for anyone looking for a peaceful, rejuvenating getaway in the hills of Northern California. It is sure to exceed expectations and provide memories to last a lifetime. I am already looking forward to planning my next visit to this exceptional retreat!

I recently took a group of my students to CA and had the opportunity to stay here. This place is AMAZING. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are great. The view is breathtaking. The property is just beautiful. The spa was….no words for the spa. Highly recommend. This is the first place I’ve ever stayed that made me want to live in California. If you’re in the area, stay here. You won’t regret it.
