Mountain Grove Is a lovely, private retreat from the world. I have stayed there many times over the years, Sometimes for a weekend, other times for a month or more. It is always a pleasure.
The owner, Susan, is lovely and responsive, and can always steer you in the right direction to find whatever you need, be It Restaurant, dry cleaning, or auto repair!

I have loved Mountain Grove for many years. The beautiful interior, the peaceful location and delicious breakfast all combine to make for a very pleasant stay away from crowds. If you are looking for a romantic getaway, a place for a family reunion or place for friends to meet up for a weekend, I think you'd love Mountain Grove. Top notch dining opportunities are just minutes away and the quaint town of Mentone is always fun to visit.

I have rented this lovely bed and breakfast twice- once for a women’s retreat weekend and then again for the rehearsal dinner and gathering place for family when my son and his wife got married. It is a lovely B&B, charming and beautiful. We loved everything about it. I highly recommend this place!

My husband and I honeymooned here in October in the Spruce room. It is an absolutely gorgeous place with a small trail that goes around the house. The drive up in october was BEAUTIFUL! Plus there are wonderful places to eat not too far from here and if you're up for a little longer drive, Cloudland Canyon is amazing!!!

An old house full of character. Reminds me of the way traveling in America used to be before cookie-cutter Airbnbs took over. If you’re interested in the unique, the lived-in, the well-loved, this place is a must visit. Also very peaceful. A great getaway. We booked on Airbnb, Susan was a great host. We’ll be back!

We arrived at Mountain Grove B&B about three hours earlier than planned and expected to be told to come back later. We were so pleasantly surprised to be greeted at the door with a warm Southern welcome by the owner, Susan. She directed us to our lovely room which was ready and waiting for us. Susan gave us great directions for a scenic road trip. Her hospitality is amazing. The house is welcoming, clean and very comfortable. We had to leave very early in the morning and told Susan not to worry about breakfast. Being the perfect hostess, she was up before we were and had delicious warm biscuits, coffee and fresh strawberries to go waiting for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mountain Grove.

Mountan Grove B&B is a wonderful place tucked away from the hustle and bustle. Susan warmly greeted us and provided gracious hospitality. Our room was comfortable and clean, the common areas were comfortable and relaxing. Our only limitation was the coolness of the weather that kept us from enjoying the wonderful back porch and patio. The breakfasts we had were delicious. Susan is very knowledgable about the area and did a great job recommending fun local places to eat.

We started our vacation by staying at the Mountain Grove B&B. It is a lovely place. So quiet and tranquil. We booked the downstairs room, The Laurel. It was cozy and comfortable. I loved seeing the lightning bugs in the back yard, and hearing all the bird songs in the evening. It was amazing. Susan couldn't have been nicer. Unfortunately for us, we had to cut our trip short due to an emergency. We will most definitely return to complete our stay. I have to give Susan kudos for her uncanny ability to give perfect driving directions off the top of her head! If you are looking to relax and still have exciting things close by to do during the day, this is your place. I cannot imagine anyone not enjoying a stay at Mountain Grove.|
